There was so much speculation about what this new season of the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” would look like, whether or not Kenya Moore would return, which new housewives would be a part of the journey and more. But now that the official trailer has been released, the questions have all been answered.
Kenya’s out and there are two women who’ve come on board. Eva Marcille has been promoted to a peach-holder, just in time for her to tie the knot. Tanya Sam, an Atlanta businesswoman and registered nurse will also join the ladies.
The new and familiar face coming to the show is Shamari DeVoe, former member of Blaque and wife to Ronnie DeVoe, of New Edition.
If you thought DeVoe was going to come in timid, deferring to the more seasoned cast members, you thought wrong. Apparently, she had an exchange of words with NeNe Leakes, telling her she DeVoe was an A list when Leakes was an alias.
In the trailer, we also watch as Eva prepares for her wedding, Shamari talks about being in an open relationship, we see Cynthia Bailey’s blossoming relationship with her new bae and, as we’ve been following, the challenges Greg is facing as he battles cancer.
The trailer devotes quite a bit of time to Porsha Williams’ fiancé Dennis McKinley and whether their relationship is as solid as they need it to be.
Her cast members believe Dennis is dogging her out. But Porsha is convinced it’s the real thing because he’s gotten her name tatted on his body.
There’s also a scene where Kandi Burruss appears to be having a very emotional conversation with her doctor about having children. We’re hoping everything is alright on that front.
Take a look at all of it in the trailer below.
