Here’s Where Plus Size Women Can Shop The Top 5 Fall Trends For Under $100

September 28, 2018  |

As we are fall-ing into a new season, it’s time to update your wardrobe. Autumn means cooler nights and the introduction of layering. I personally love Fall because it’s light jacket weather and time for booties. Plus size women don’t have to be subjected to simple style. We can wear the hell outta the trends, too! We’ve rounded up 19 plus-size pieces that will have your fall fashion game on point.

ANIMAL PRINT

Cardi B. stepped out at Milan Fashion week in head to toe Dolce and Gabbana leopard print. Rawr! Animal print is the new fashion neutral and you’ll be seeing it all Fall and Winter. ASOS created this cute leopard chiffon double split dress ($45.00, ASOS.com) that would look great alone and as the weather gets cooler, pair it with some funky tights. You don’t have to succumb your style to an all animal print look if it’s too overpowering for your fashion.

Try this short sleeve, tie-neck top ($56.00, Eloquii.com) and pair it with a red or black leather pencil skirt for some fashion.

You can also play with animal print via your accessories, try these pointy toe flats that come in wide width that are as comfortable as they are fashionable ($29.50, AshleyStewart.com). I’m also loving these Lola Mules and think they would look great with some leather leggings ($35.69, SimplyBe.com). Furthermore, with animal print, while we see a lot of leopard, all prints are in. I’m loving this snakeskin bodysuit ($24.99, FashionNova.com).

MENSWEAR MANIA

In honor of women taking up space in the boardroom, suit style has been trending hard for the past few seasons. We saw it a lot at New York Fashion Week this season, so we’re expecting to see the style for at least the next year. Plaid is also trending for Fall 2018, but you can advance your plaid menswear suit with bold color or even a sexy silhouette.

I’m loving the above three piece duster set from Honey’s Child Boutique ($59.00, HoneysChildBoutique.com). Jumpsuits are lengthening and slimming and this all black tux-inspired piece ($72.00, ASOS.com) is an ensemble that you can dress up for your holiday party. This pastel plus-size double-breasted blazer ($25.99, Forever21.com) is a great transition from Summer into Fall and Winter into Spring. If you want your menswear with a feminine flair, you can’t go wrong with this double breasted plaid blazer dress ($XX, Eloquii.com).

The 80’s influence is huge for Fall 2018. This season you are going to be seeing a lot of leather, white booties, padded shoulders, fringe, and more. Forget the no white after Labor Day fashion rule, it’s officially dead and buried. White booties were trending at the front row of fashion week and we’re loving this trend that pops any outfit. Carlos by Carlos Santana created these minimalistic white booties ($69.00, Macys.com) that will go well with jeans or your work outfit. A must-have for fall is some leather pants. Pair leather pants with a screen print t-shirt for an effortless weekend look or with a white button down for some wicked work style. I love these faux leather leggings ($29.90, Forever21.com). When you think of leather (or faux leather), don’t just think of black. Nor does leather in this trend have to always be “sexy.” This faux leather tie neck pleated dress ($159.90, Eloquii.com) is beautiful for work and will take you from 9A to 5P to after 5PM. Fringe brings movement to your outfit and can give you some extra style dramatics. This v-neck black lace and fringe cocktail dress ($83.00, ASOS.com) is perfect for a date night this Fall or a fancy evening out. Give your clothing some architecture can be a major fashion power play. Padded shoulders won’t make you look like a linebacker but rather give you some oomph! This checkered dress ($83.00, ASOS.com).

STUN IN SEQUINS

We were rocking sequins this summer and we’ll continue it into Fall and Winter as well. Ashley Graham just released a collection with Pretty Little Things and this gold sequin maxi dress ($38.00, PrettyLittleThing.com) will show off your curves, perfectly. Sometimes, the sequins make a simple piece special, like this rose gold cocktail dress ($57.99, JCPenney.com). Pair it with some earrings and rings and set it off with some statement shoes for an effortlessly festive look. Take your little black dress style up a notch with this sequin midi dress ($69.99, FashionNova.com).

OVERSIZED

This is the season for comfort. There are many oversized pieces that will look amazing. Don’t fear wearing oversized clothes on your plus-size body. This Missguided velour oversized shirt ($22.00, MissGuidedUS.com) will look perfect with jeans or even some faux leather leggings. We saw a lot of oversized coats on the runway for Fall/Winter 2018. We love this winter white version with a funnel neck ($119.00, ASOS.com). While it’s $119.00, there is currently 20% off on ASOS. Believe it or not, oversized can actually be slimming, if that’s something you are going for. Wide leg pants help balance out your body and look great with a fitted top. Try out this velvet green pair that hit’s multiple trends at once ($69.00, ModCloth.com)!

You can also buy sweater a size or two bigger and wear the oversize trend. We love the above one from Ellos as it already comes oversize for you ($42.90, Ellos.US).

What trend are you most excited to shop for the season? We want to know!
