The rap world ripped in two last week when the beef between rap stars Cardi B and Nicki Minaj became physical at a New York Fashion Week event.

Fans and celebs took sides, as writers frantically tried to capture the events that resulted in a huge knot forming above the “Bodak Yellow” rapper’s eye.

While the two hitmakers remain embroiled in beef, everyone’s favorite TV auntie, Jenifer Lewis, took to Instagram to set the dueling women straight.

“Cardi B, Nicki, it’s Auntie!” she sings.

“Now you know we love you both, so help Auntie spread this quote: ‘remember in November, to vote.'”

Lewis then takes shots at Trump, saying: “There is a man in the highest office who puts children in a cage.”

Concluding, “I need ya’ll to get woke, so get out and vote.”

Lewis is definitely the straight-shooting mother of Black Hollywood needed to take the spotlight off of a feud between women and instead highlight a very real political crisis plaguing our country.

Singer Kelly Rowland recently weighed in on the beef, saying “It’s not time for us as women to fight.”

Amen to that.

It seems Nicki has already encouraged her followers to vote during the September 13th New York primaries.
