Vivica A. Fox continues to prove why she is one of the busiest ladies in Hollywood, who always makes sure she keeps her bag secured. She has a new gig and this time she gets to show off her gift of gab, while helping out others in the process.

This fall, Vivica A. Fox will be back on the FOX hit series Empire as Cookie’s oldest sister Candace, she’ll star in the sexy indie film Kinky, and she’ll co-host a new daytime talk show called Face The Truth. Say what you will, but some of the younger generation of celebs could learn a thing or two from Fox’s hustle and relevance after over 20 years in the business.

Now on to Face The Truth. The upcoming syndicated talk show is from Jay McGraw’s Stage 29 Productions, as you may know, McGraw is also the son of fellow talk show host Dr. Phil McGraw. Fox leads a diverse “Truth Team” of experts that includes Judge Mary Chrzanowski aka “Scary Mary,” clinical and forensic psychologist Dr. Judy Ho, lawyer and advocate Areva Martin and model, life coach and single mom Rosie Mercado.

The breakdown of each show is described as follows:

On each episode, real people present their problems big and small to the hosts in search of solutions. The panel offers their opinion on issues ranging from dating and relationships to bad habits to parenting, and studio and at-home audiences weigh in on the conversation and vote on who is right and who is wrong. Special guests and your favorite celebrities will also make appearances throughout the season.

Speaking about the show and who it attracts, Fox offered her response, “We are trying to change people’s lives for the better. We have guests from all walks of life and we help them face the truth – straight up, no chaser.”

Executive producer Jay McGraw has high hopes for the series and sees a void that Face The Truth will fill. “We have an incredibly talented cast with strong opinions who deliver a show that is entertaining, informative and highly watchable.” Dr, Phil continues the sentiment stating, Face The Truth is an exciting, dynamic show that bridges the gap between quality television and the exploitive voyeuristic television that people are stuck with now. It’s meaningful conflict with instructive resolution.”

Congrats on the new job Vivica! Face The Truth premieres in syndicated markets on September 10. Check your local listings for times and stations.
