Braxton Sisters Airing Session With Iyanla Vanzant On Season Finale Of “Braxton Family Values”

September 6, 2018  |

The Braxton family will air their issues out on the two-part season finale of WE tv’s Braxton Family Values with life coach, Iyanla Vanzant.

The Fix My Life host was initially tapped in the past few weeks to help Traci, Trina, Toni, Towanda, Tamar and their parents, Evelyn and Michael, repair their severed relationships, according to Entertainment Tonight.

ET revealed exclusive snaps from the set with the family in a half circle as they discuss their beefs and grudges.

The sisters are allegedly in the depths of some dissent after the family staged a walk-off mid-season while filming their reality series. Traci has continued filming as the sisters continue to wage a salary strike with the producers and network. To keep the cameras rolling Traci and producers approached Atlanta Housewives alum Phaedra Parks, to which Trina, Towanda and Tamar publicly shaded in an Instagram post.

The sisters are not without their share of public spats on social media–and at times use their platforms to take subs at one another.

And there are other issues still lingering, stemming from the Braxton’s debut as a musical group in the early 90’s. Traci still holds a sense of resentment towards her family because she had to leave the group after she became pregnant with her son Kevin. As season one aired it became increasingly apparent that the sisters still had unresolved friction over childhood issues which followed into adulthood. The sisters have been through their share of highs and lows their personal lives, but they always seemed to come together for the sake of family.

This isn’t the first time the family sought outside help to repair their damaged relationships. Bishop T.D. Jakes sat down with the family in 2015 which culminated in a tearful session and a series of intimate reveals. We’ll have to wait and see what Iyanla brings to the table for the Braxton family.

The two-part finale airs on Thursday, Sept, 27 and Thursday, Oct. 4 at 9 p.m. on WE tv.
