(Washington Post) — Canyon-Johnson Urban Funds, a joint venture backed in part by former NBA star Earvin “Magic” Johnson, has agreed to invest $17.5 million in a 122-acre development called Oxford Square, six miles north of Fort Meade in northwestern Anne Arundel County. The new project will include a mix of residential, office and retail space and sit near a MARC commuter rail station.
