Swizz Beatz Has A Message For Men With Successful Women: “Thank The Most High Or Step Your Game Up!”

As one of the most popular (and most criticized) celebrity couples, producer Swizz Beatz and his wife Alicia Keys are used to the scrutiny that comes with being underneath the microscope of being a celebrity power couple. Swizz recently offered some insight to men who are with very successful women like he is—and it’s pretty interesting.

Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys are currently on a luxurious vacation in Egypt, but he took a little time out from chilling out in the sun to offer some advice to men who are in relationships with women who are very successful.

In an Instagram post, Swizz called for the attention of men to let them know that if they are fortunate enough to be with a “Queen that’s successful,” they “shouldn’t be jealous or upset.” Instead, they should thankful or simply step their game up. He also stated that this belief also relates to being with women who are “smarter or better” than you.

If you think about it, he definitely speaking facts. Many men feel threatened by a woman who makes more money or makes bigger moves than they do, especially black men, so it’s encouraging that someone like Swizz is making such a bold statement.

You may remember that the relationship between Swizz and Alicia has always been surrounded in controversy due to  him still being married, though separated, from his ex-wife Mashonda when he and Alicia started dating. However, the three of them have managed to have a pretty amicable co-parenting relationship, as they all frequently vacation together and seem to have put all of the past issues behind them. Unfortunately, the general public appears to have trouble letting it go.

He had some words for those who continue to refer to Alicia as a homewrecker, when he stepped into The Shade Room to comment:

With Alicia reportedly setting her sights on a new recording contract, she’ll hopefully address the issues of successful women in relationships.
