Ever since an unappreciated teenager named Peaches Monroe announced to all of America that her eyebrows were “on fleek” we’ve been trying to trying to return to 90s inspired beauty goals.

YouTube tutorials and Sephora associates are helpful in our quests but constantly filling in one’s brows can be time-consuming, expensive, and in the humidity…completely pointless. 

Enter microblading.

A leader of the “no makeup makeup” movement, microblading is a semi-permanent tattooing procedure that fills in the brows using a fine crisp stroke to implant pigment beneath the skin. Also referred to as micro shading, micro feathering, or ombre it is has gained popularity in recent years going from medical spas and dermatologist offices to nail salons and beauty events. However, with many permanent and semipermanent beauty options, microblading is hardly one size fits all.
