August 16, 2018  |

“Housewives Of Atlanta” star Kandi Burruss continues to take her entrepreneurship to new levels!

The businesswoman is planning to open a second location of her popular family based restaurant, Old Lad Gang, in the city’s Phillips Arena.

Burruss was pictured alongside her husband and business partner Todd Tucker, and the stadium owners.

“I have been keeping this to myself but now I can finally announce that we will have an @oldladygang in the #PhillipsArena!!!! I’m so excited! Tonight they unveiled some of the new things they’re bringing to the newly renovated arena, ” Burruss wrote.

The couple’s journey as restauranteurs was hilariously documented on the hit Bravo series. Burruss involved her whole family with the launch of the first brick and mortar location of the restaurant. The restaurant is named after the food traditions spurred by Burruss’mother and aunts, Joyce Jones, Bertha Jones & Nora Wilcox.

Along with her announcement Burruss also told fans that the arena has a special place in her heart as the jump off for the SoSoDef tour, Burruss’ first label opportunity as a member of R&B supergroup Xscape.

“I’m thankful to be a part of that. I’m also thankful that the first concert that will be in the new #PhillipsArena will be the #SoSoDef tour! So I get to be on stage & then meet you at my restaurant in the food court…😂. Swipe left to see our new #soulsandwich (fried chicken breast, collard greens, & mac n cheese).”
