(Black Web 2.0) — Back in June, MTV launched the search for the first ever Twitter Jocker or “TJ” in MTV’s “Follow Me: The Search for the First MTV TJ!”. There were initially 18 contestants in the running for the title with an additional two open spots remaining for open nominations. The new TJ would be responsible for handling MTV’s social networking duties including managing the company’s Facebook, Twitter, and blogs. And you’d be hard-pressed not to think that a jockey of any kind wouldn’t get any television time on MTV.
