Hardwick stars as Cass, an L.A. club promoter and Good as Frida, a Midwestern visitor. Together they embark on a romantic journey that challenges both of them to chase their broken dreams.
Cass and Frida manage to find love on the evening of the 2016 election as the nation kept a close eye on Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton’s battle to the White House.
The Qasim Basir-directed film, which premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival, also stars Kenya Barris, Wesley Jonathan, Affion Crockett, Insecure’s Jay Ellis and DomiNque Perry.
