Wale recently stated that “racial ambiguity helps in anything” when asked about previous comments he made implying he’d be a more successful rapper if he were light-skinned. The next morning, singer and actress V. Bozeman backed up Wale’s claim, telling people to “stop acting like you don’t. know.” But when it comes to the non-famous, everyday man and woman of color does complexion also affect our careers?
