Chrissy Teigen Shared Jealous Fit She Had On The Set Of John Legend’s Video “Green Light”

July 31, 2018  |

Model Chrissy Teigen is all of us. She is relatable on so many levels, from showing us her post-birth body to sharing her battle with postpartum depression and getting real about going overboard with drinking. Basically, she tries to be transparent af.

So, in honor of the 10th anniversary of the release of John Legend’s song “Green Light” this week, she continued in her pattern of transparency by taking us down memory lane of the time she had a jealous fit on the set of that video.

On Twitter, the 32-year-old said that she had a “jealously-fueled meltdown” when she thought that her boo, John, seemed to be boo’d up with one of the video models. She even cross-referenced the details with her husband, which unfurls into a hilarious story of Chrissy basically making up stuff in her head…who hasn’t been there?

“Fun fact, I had a jealously-fueled meltdown visiting this video set and made an asshole out of myself to a large group of people,” she began.

Well, hindsight is always 20/20, but the combination of being a woman in your twenties and dating a big star, can lead to her becoming a “psychotic hawk,” when folks are fanning the flames. The ironic twist is that Chrissy met John on a video set, but that did the opposite of calming her nerves.

The story she made up in her head conjured up real feelings of anger and sadness that led her to finally leave the set. She made such a scene that Alan Ferguson, the director of the video, was “baffled.”

Thankfully, she is better, and I’m sure age has a lot to do with it. I’m not sure how well that story would go over if she behaved that way as the 32-year-old woman she is now. But at 22, of course.

Cheers to Chrissy for always being transparent and to the 10th anniversary of “Green Light!”
