I don’t know about you, but I personally love to see the little-shared stories of minorities on the small screen. Maybe that’s why I’ve been so drawn to Ryan Murphy’s latest FX series, Pose. The drama, set in the late ’80s in New York, follows different players (particularly of the LGBTQ community) by giving viewers a glimpse into the ball scene, the yuppie Wall Street culture, and the impact of the AIDS epidemic. It showcases some great performances and writing (Janet Mock is a producer, writer, and in one episode, a director for the series). But Pose isn’t the only great series or program showcasing the important stories of LGBTQ people. Before Pride Month is over, hit the flip and check out nine other recent shows worth catching up on ASAP.

Pose (FX)

My House (VICELAND)

Lost in Transition (TLC)

Vida (Starz)

Dear White People Season 2 (Netflix)

Here and Now (HBO)

Will and Grace (NBC reboot)

Queer Eye (Netflix)

I Am Jazz (TLC)

Sense8 (Netflix)
