Last night, Nickelodeon premiered its reboot of Double Dare, the wildly popular ’90s slimy game show. And within that reboot, an even more popular reunion will take place.

To my inner ’90s kid delight, Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell will be appearing on Double Dare to compete in a one-hour special later this summer. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Mitchell expressed how excited he was to be in front of the camera with his Good Burger brother again.

“I am so excited to be playing on Double Dare and for whole new generation of kids to experience this iconic game show,” says Mitchell. “This episode will be double special because Kenan and I will be playing against each other and we are both huge fans of Double Dare! I can’t wait to see the super talented Liza Koshy rock it as the new host!”

On Instagram, Mitchell even shared some behind-the-scenes footage of him and Thompson while filming the game show.

“Uh oh! The boys are in the building! Fun time shooting Double Dare today with the bro!” the caption reads.

I have no doubt that Kenan and Kel will bring it on Double Dare, but it doesn’t hurt that All That alum, Lori Beth Denberg, will join them as well. The three reunited on Nick Cannon’s Wild’N Out in February as well, and of course, they killed the stage.

While all these mini-reunions are fine and dandy, I’d like to know when Nickelodeon will get their mind right and reboot Kenan and Kel or even Good Burger?

I mean, if they can do it for Raven’s Home, then surely, this should be no problem. I would be here for that. Would you?
