T.I. Says His Sons Aren’t “Rockin’ With Him” In The Midst Of Cheating Allegations

It really baffles me that men have yet to fully grasp the concept that cheating on a woman you share children with also means you’re cheating on your children. The time you could be using to strengthen the bond between your spouse, you’re out giving it to someone else, betraying them and your vows on top of it. The time you could be spending with your children, you’re giving to someone who has the ability to disrupt their lives as they know it.

The disrespect of a child’s mother is the disrespect of a child. Sadly, in the practice of disregarding a woman’s feelings, it never occurs to a man how his children will be affected and even scarred by his actions.

We’ve seen it time and time again. Some of us have even lived it. And we’re seeing it again with T.I. and his most recent shenanigans.

Earlier, we reported about T.I. being seen slapping the behind of another woman, actress, Asia’h Epperson. The flirtatious interaction was caught on video for all the world to see. And considering the fact that almost all of T.I.’s children are old enough to be on Instagram—with many of them with pages of their own, there’s a good chance that they saw it.

However they found out about it, they seem to have felt a way about their father flirting with another woman. (I think it’s safe to assume that there is more to their relationship than just that video.) This past weekend, Father’s Day, while many fathers were spending that time with their children, T.I. admitted that his were away from him during this holiday.

When a fan said she wanted to see King and Major, T.I. replied, “Major and King with they momma, man. And they ain’t rockin’ with me right now.”

And in typical T.I. fashion, instead of acknowledging his role in the temporary separation of his family, T.I. shared this: “I don’t give a damn about that gossip y’all talkin’ about. Anytime anybody need me, I’m there.”

Alright.

Part of being a father is providing financially. And part of being a father is being there physically. But we would be remiss if we said that part of being a good father, includes being a good husband and more than that, a man of your word, leading by example, honoring your children by honoring their mother.

And as I’ve said before, honoring the mother of your child can be being mature enough to walk away from the relationship.
