Last month, we reported that Quad Webb Lunceford filed for divorce from her husband Dr. Gregory Lunceford. Later, she filed an order of protection against her estranged husband. Meanwhile, he accused her of taking property from the home they shared together during their marriage.

Now, on her show “Sister Circle,” the “Married To Medicine” star opened up about the divorce during “The Let It Go Brunch.”

“I choose to not fall into a state of depression. I choose not to take that on, I choose to be victorious.”

She continued on “The Sister Circle.”

“Because it is. It’s choices. A lot of time we put ourselves in suffrage, in bondage, for what? Because we feel that we need to be loyal to a situation even though it’s not right or things have shifted a little. I just choose to not fall victim to that. I choose to say, ‘Hey, this is the decision that I made. I’m going to stand firm and strong on that.’ And keep pressing. I have a beautiful sisterhood with you all that is amazing. And it’s just so much to be grateful and thankful for. One part of my life did not work but I am not immune to things happening to me. So I have to say, ‘Why not me?’ I am human. But I got strength.”
