When you visit a childhood friend whom you haven’t seen in years, you can’t help but wonder, “How has she changed? How will she think that I’ve changed?” After recently seeing a good friend I’ve known for 14 years, whom I (sadly) hadn’t seen since her wedding three years ago, I learned something very lovely and very humbling: in our essence, we’ve stayed the same, and can pick up just where we left off but also, we’ve both picked up some older habits in hilarious ways.
