Black Panther-Themed Hospital Gowns For Children Are On The Way

Marvel Studios, kids hospital gownsThanks to Marvel, children in the hospital will be able to wear superhero-themed hospital gowns.  According to Essence, Marvel has donated $1.25 million to Starlight Children’s Foundation to make 26,000 “Starlight Gowns” for children in the hospital through their charity, Hero Acts.

“Every kid dreams of transforming into their favorite Marvel superhero — and a hospitalized child is no different,” Starlight’s CEO, Chris Helfrich and President of Marvel Studios Kevin Feige said in a statement, “We are proud to donate.”

As seen above, the gowns are designed after the superhero suits of Black Panther, Iron Man, Spiderman, The Hulk, Captain America and more.

Starlight Gowns replace the traditional hospital gowns for children with designs inspired by different characters and fun themes that can add a little happiness to such a sad situation.

Make-A-Wish Foundation is also seeing a hefty chunk of the donation, $800,000 to be exact.
