After touring for 11 months, SZA’s vocal cords may be permanently damaged.

Late last month, Top Dawg Entertainment CEO Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith announced that SZA had to take a few days off from TDE’s Championship Tour due to her vocal cords being swollen and to prevent any permanent damage. But the damage may have already been done.

Championship Tour update…

A post shared by gwadpot (@dangerookipawaa) on

In a series of tweets this week, the “Love Galore” singer informed fans that her voice will not be the same.

“My voice is permanently injured. Great !!!!!!!!!!!!! YAYYYYYUUYH!!!!!!!!,” she sarcastically tweeted.

All the tweets were later deleted and she has not yet released an official statement. Due to this major health issue, we can only assume that she will be missing the remaining dates of the Championship Tour, which has the grand finale on June 16th in Pittsburgh, PA.
