Given the fact that Roseanne has made anti-Semitic remarks and went unpunished, I didn’t assume her racist remark against Valerie Jarrett, a Black woman, would result in anything either. But apparently, the people have spoken and the network could no longer ignore it.

Variety is reporting that they’ve cancelled the revival of the “Roseanne” the reboot.

The decision comes after Roseanne’s racist remarks, likening Jarrett to an ape.

Hours later, comedian Wanda Sykes, who served as the consulting producer for the show, announced that she would not return for a second season.

Shortly after that, ABC announced that they were cancelling the show.

In a statement from ABC Entertainment President Channing Dungey, a Black woman, wrote:

“Roseanne’s Twitter statement is abhorrent, repugnant and inconsistent with our values, and we have decided to cancel her show.”

I believe DJ Khaled has a word for Roseanne.
