Babes And Felines Promotes Body Positivity With One Size Fits All Swimsuits And No Photoshop Use
When you’re a curvy woman, finding a swimsuit that accentuates your body is not that easy to get your hands on. Swimwear line Babes and Felines is hoping to make that swimwear search a lot easier. CEO Ciera Rogers started this line to offer stylish and affordable options to all women from slim to full-figured.
One way this line separates itself from others is with its one-size-fits-all swimsuits.
“This means that customers from a size 0 all the way up to maternity can wear the same piece,” she said in a statement about her line. “Kim [Kardashian] wearing my pieces during her first pregnancy truly showed that aspect of the line’s versatility.”
Babes and Felines prides itself on embracing all shapes, sizes and imperfections, which is why Rogers does not use Photoshop on her line’s photo ads.
“When I first started taking photos, lots of girls were touching up,” she said. “But I was leaving everything to show: my cellulite, my dimples. That’s what set me apart from the other girls. So when we do photo shoots, I don’t do heavy editing of the models. We leave everything natural.”
For their Summer 2018 collection, there are also maxi skirts, denim pieces, leggings, body suits and a line of T-shirts dedicated the legendary singer Sade. Take a look at some of the collection’s pieces below and at babesandfelines.com.
