Earlier this week, singer Ray J and wife Princess Love welcomed their first child, a baby girl. On that very important day, Ray could barely contain his excitement over the arrival of his daughter, telling everyone on social media, “CANT BELIEVE ITS HAPPENING!! THIS IS AMAZING!! UNREAL #GODISHERE”

Well, the 37-year-old, who already made the song “4MyBaby” months before his child’s arrival, had a lot more to get off his chest about this milestone moment in his life. Most of it pertained to Princess, who he was deeply grateful to for going through so much to bring baby Norwood into the world. The message was definitely a sweet one, shared alongside an image of Ray kissing his wife while she lies in the hospital during labor.

“I LOVE YOU! im so Proud,” he wrote. “This has been life Changing for me. To watch you go thru all of this for us to have this beautiful Ángel! I have so much more respect for u in so Many new ways- you have humbled me to the highest level- if I ever doubted you or didnt show it I am so so sorry! You are my heart and soul! I will always be there for you 4LIFE! and even in heaven!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU- and to all the women who have been down this journey I love and respect you- and I promise to show that! and to my beautiful wife this is just the beggining [sic] of the best time in our life!!! you are my true soulmate and I love you soooooo much!!”

Ray J announced that he and Princess were expecting back in November, and you will reportedly have the chance to see what this journey was like for the new parents. The Love and Hip Hop Hollywood stars scored a reality special on VH1 about the pregnancy. As previously shared, the special will document the delivery, as well as the parents learning the ins and outs of parenting from guest stars like rapper Too $hort and former The Hills stars and new parents, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt. It is set to premiere sometime this summer. But for Ray and Princess, parenthood starts now.
