“It Ain’t Always Pretty”: Famous Women Who Kept It 100 About How Hard Motherhood Is
When it comes to what celebrity parents, particularly new moms, share on social media, a lot of it paints a picture that they’re having the time of their lives. They’re bonding with their kids and are filled with all of the joy and happiness in the world. Every picture looks like it could be in a magazine, and they make it look easy.
But other famous women aren’t afraid to keep it 100 about how hard it can be to balance parental duties with self-care, work, sleep, cooking, cleaning and more. So they share photos of themselves literally trying to balance it all, or just give you the unfiltered, raw look at how they’re coping. Take for example, Tia Mowry.
While some new moms have been able to give birth, look fabulous the day they do it (i.e., Kate Middleton) and then get back into the swing of things, the new mom of two, who just gave birth to her daughter at the beginning of May, made it clear that she’s #teamnosleep:
She’s not the only mom who has let people know that even though being a mom is a fulfulling role, it requires a lot of juggling. Check out nine other famous moms trying to do it all, from struggling to learn how to do their kids’ hair to trying to use the toilet in peace while breastfeeding, and keeping it all the way real about motherhood.

This #breastfeeding stuff is no joke. @sewjodie came over to my house to wash my hair & while she was washing @acewellstucker started going crazy! He doesn't care that I have a head full of shampoo. He wants to eat now! Lol! This pic might be a bit much to share on the gram but this is my reality right now. Save your negative comments… #KandiKoatedMilk
