“This Butt Of Mine Is All Mine”: A Healthier, Happier K. Michelle Shows Off Natural Curves Following Surgeries

It hasn’t been an easy last few months for K. Michelle, but the good news is, she’s starting to both feel and look more like herself again.

As previously reported, the 34-year-old singer has kept fans abreast of her different procedures to deal with the pain and health issues past butt injections caused. She went early in the year to get them removed, and months later, found herself dealing with all sorts of infections, discomfort, emergency blood transfusions, surgeries, and emotional turmoil due to feeling she wasn’t receiving enough support from those close to her. At the very end of April she had her third surgery to deal with necrosis in her backside, which is the death of living tissue. Since then, she’s been on the road to recovery and made a great deal of progress, physically and emotionally.

She gave an update to fans over the weekend saying she is proud of her “war wounds” and “really happy not to have that big a– backpack on my back.”

“There’s nothing like a natural booty,” she said in an Instagram video. “There’s nothing like being healthy! Put it like that.”

She still has another surgery to go, a reconstructive procedure to help with the scarring and reshaping of her behind, but she’s come a long way. She’s back to taking showers by herself, can perform while standing (with drains in her pockets though), and can get back to driving. All in all, she is happy about the progress she’s made and likes what she sees.

“I looked in the mirror today and didn’t look like a sexy ant!” she recently joked. “I’m so tiny and cute. And this butt of mine is all mine and i’m still bootylicious naturally.”

K showed that she is indeed still quite curvaceous without the injections, hitting the stage in Louisville, Kentucky late last week and happily putting on a great performance:

Glad to see her back on her feet and unafraid to share her story in the hopes of helping other women.
