Misty Copeland is known for being a trailblazing ballerina, as well as the principal dancer (the first Black one) for the American Ballet Theatre. But aside from having those honored titles, Copeland can now add “designer” to her resume.

The 35-year-old, who has partnered with performance brand Under Armour for the last four years, designed her first official line for them, and it’s called the Misty Copeland Signature Collection.

“I wanted a line where we could feel fierce in the gym,” she said in a statement, “and at the same time, feel confident wearing the same look out to dinner, running errands or living our everyday lives.”

The first collection features some versatile pieces that are meant for both sport and style. That includes simple leggings and workout bottoms, as well as more complex items like a leather bomber jacket, trench coats, and a dress with a detachable bodysuit. There is also a full performance jumpsuit, as well as crop tops and vests to suit a wide variety of tastes.

“I think just having pieces you can really layer and play with is something every woman wants in her closet,” Copeland said while debuting the collection at event hosted by Elaine Welteroth in New York at Cadillac House on Wednesday night.

“I think that the ballerina is such a versatile athlete that most people don’t think about. She’s strong, she’s feminine, she’s powerful, she’s elegant, and so I feel like, what the ballerina represents embodies so many different women,” she said of her inspiration for the collection. “So I feel like this is for every woman. There’s something in there for every woman.”

The Signature Collection ranges from $60-$550, and is available to purchase on the Under Armour website, as well as in UA stores and in select Macy’s locations.
