Do: Set A Timeframe

Though immediately leaving your job might not be the right call, we also don’t advocate sticking around for months and years waiting for an opportunity that might not present itself. With that said, and after you’ve cooled down a bit, take some time to figure out a long-term gameplan. Set a timeframe by which you’d like to revisit the conversation about raises and promotions with your manager and depending on how that shakes out you can then move forward with searching for other opportunities.
