I fell in love with OWN’s series “Black Love” last season. It was an authentic look at the struggles and sweetness of what goes into a marriage, featuring Black couples we’ve been watching for years and couples we would have never met, if not for the series.

After a record-breaking 1.2 million viewer debut, the show is back for a second season. This time, the husband and wife filmmaker team, Codie Elaine Oliver and Tommy Oliver , will interview Sterling K. Brown and wife Ryan Michelle Bathe, Niecy Nash and husband Jay Tucker, Tina Knowles-Lawson and husband Richard Lawson, former NBA player Grant Hill and Grammy-nominated recording artist â€ªTamia, RUN DMC’s Rev Run and wife Justine Simmons, comedian D.L. Hughley and wife LaDonna, former NFL-running back Eddie George and wife Taj of SWV, Hip-Hop artist Styles P and wife Adjua, Actors Alano Miller and Dewanda Wise, NFL Linebacker Bart Scott and wife StarrGospel recording artist â€ªKirk Franklin and wife Tammy and more.

In the sneak peek of the new season, Tammy Franklin tells the truth about what her husband, gospel singer Kirk Franklin was like when she first met him.

Kirk: “I was the hoe that’s what you’re trying to say.”

Tammy: “He was a gospel hoe.”

Always here for this type of honesty and humor.

Check out the trailer for the new season below.

“Black Love” returns on Saturday, May 12 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on OWN.
