Domestic Violence Felony Charges Against Trey Songz Dropped
The last we reported, Trey Songz, was facing felony domestic violence charges for the alleged assault against a woman named Andrea Buera. But according to TMZ, the felony charges have been dropped.
Apparently, the L.A. District Attorney isn’t convinced of Buera’s story.
Sources told TMZ that Trey Songz’s lawyer Shawn Holley provided numerous statements that conflicted with Buera’s account of what happened during All Star Weekend this past February.
There was also additional information that called Buera’s credibility into question.
The case will now be reviewed by the L.A. City Attorney who will decide whether or not to charge Songz with misdemeanor domestic violence.
As we initially reported, Buera claimed that Songz choked, punched and initially threw her to the ground. Buera claimed that as a result of the incident, she suffered a concussion and was vomiting from the migraines.
She shared images of her bruised face, body and neck.
