Tiny Files For Leave Of Absence In Her And T.I.’s Divorce

April 5, 2018  |

The writing was all on the wall with this one. Since we learned that Tiny had filed for divorce from her husband, rapper T.I., the two have been dancing around one another.

T.I. refused to sign the papers, they’ve been seen out and about, with him making pop up appearances at her Xscape shows. Then her friends confirmed that the two never really broke up.

So the news that Tiny has halted her divorce proceedings is a shock to no one.

According to our sister site Bossip, Tiny filed documents earlier this week, on April 2, asking for a leave of absence from the divorce.

There was no reason given for the leave of absence but we can guess it has something to do with the couple’s decision to reconcile.

The tactic is not a new one. It was the same one T.I. used in a nonpayment suit he had with a jeweler. The leave of absence prevented the case from going forward for almost a year.

Despite T.I.’s admitted infidelity, calling his marriage a distraction and whatnot, there have been rumors that the two were debating about whether or not to renew their vows.

Tiny initially filed for divorce in December 2016, citing irreconcilable differences. At the time, she said there was no hope of them getting back together. Afterward, the two began living separately.

As a result of the divorce, Tiny asked T.I. to make a full amount of their money, property and investments because as his wife of over six years, at the time, she was entitled to half of it. ‘’

T.I. countersued her, asking the court for more time to come to an agreement.

With the exception of this leave of absence, there hasn’t been any movement in the case.
