When it comes to skin care, black women have unique challenges due to the amount of melanin in our skin. Cosmetic chemist Eunice Cofie-Oben founded her company Nuekie to provide top of the line skin care to black women. Now, the FAMU graduate will be launching the Nuekie  Skin of Color Directory to ensure that black women have access to quality skin care services no matter their location.

“As a woman of color, I fully understand the challenges that we face when it comes to getting professional skin care treatments for our skin.,” she told Black News. “Delivering the best quality skin care to women of color has been a passion of mine for many years. This has been the driving force behind the creation of the directory, as I want everyone to have access to quality skin care.”

The directory is a curated list of dermatologists and other skin care professionals who are highly recommended in ethnic skin care.  Sign up here to be notified once the directory launches.
