Palmer’s New Natural Fusions Collection Makes Hair Cocktailing So Much Easier

April 5, 2018  |

We know you’ve seen the YouTube videos with the girls using as many ingredients to nourish their strands on wash day as we do to make Thanksgiving dinner. But despite the fact that I always love the results these vloggers get when they mix a little of this with a bit of that and put it in their hair, the lazy, low maintenance natural that I am just can’t find the time or the energy to make my own concoctions — let alone research what would work best for my texture and needs. Thanks to Palmer’s, I no longer have to feel guilty about that — or miss out on the benefits of hair cocktailing. The brand’s newest launch makes the process as easy as the girls on YouTube make it seem.

Natural Fusions is the name of the collection from Palmer’s that just hit Walmart shelves this month. And like the name suggestions, the line is all about helping users fuse natural-based cleansing and styling products with treatment oils to cater to individual hair needs.

Let’s start with the bases…

Micellar Rosewater Cleanser

Micellar water is the ingredient of the year because of its ability to attract dirt and oil and remove those elements without drying (that goes for the skin and hair). So this rosewater micellar cleanser is formulated to gently draw out build-up from strands without leaving them dried out.

Lavender Rosewater Conditioner

Like the collection name suggests, this wash-out conditioner draws upon natural moisturizers — lavender and rosewater — to hydrate hair.

Chia Seed & Argan Oil Hair Mask

We know you know the benefits of Argan oil but chia seed for your hair? That’s a yes if you’d like strands that are stronger and thicker, which is how this protein benefits your mane.

Mallow Root Leave-In Conditioner

Mallow plant increases hair’s slip and smoothness, making this leave-in key for detangling prior to styling.

Neem & Buruti Style Hold

Neem Oil helps prevent dryness while Buruti Oil works to help hair maintain elasticity and repel frizz from humidity in this product with provides hold without the flake.

Ceramide Monoï Hair Food Oil

If your hair is weak, brittle, thin, or prone to breakage, this oil is clutch for coating strands and protecting them from damage.

And now for the cocktails…

Healthy Scalp DIY Cocktail Kit

Dry, itchy scalp can be a nuisance. This cocktail kit of Eucalyptus Oil, Tea Tree Oil, and Jamaican Black Castor Oil provides the essentials needed to sooth itchiness and keep the scalp hydrated, detoxified, and moisturized.

Shine & Hydration DIY Cocktail Kit

If your hair doesn’t look as healthy as it could, turn to this kit. Jojoba Oil, Argan Oil, and Avocado Oil each have lightweight, yet deeply moisturizing formulas to add superior shine, softness, and hydration.

A really cool aspect of this collection is the oils can be added to any of the product bases. So if you want to treat your scalp during the wash phase, you can add a few drops of the Eucalyptus and Tea Tree oil from the Healthy Scalp Cocktail Kit to the Micellar Rosewater Cleanser. Or if you want to do an even deeper conditioning treatment, you can add Argan oil from the shine and hydration kit to the Lavender Rosewater Conditioner. Or add Jojoba oil to the Chia Seed Mask for an overnight treatment. And if you still feel overwhelmed by the idea of concocting your own product, you can refer to the recipe card included in the kit so you know exactly what to combine for your specific hair needs.

The product line is currently available in Walmart stores and on Items range from just $8-$13.
