Kenya Moore’s husband, Marc Daly, is very real and very much in love with his reality star wife.
The couple, who wed last year, did their first joint interview with Entertainment Tonight’s Nischelle Turner. They attended Elton John’s AIDS Foundation Oscars Party on Sunday and were glowing while talking about their relationship and how they knew they’d finally found their perfect match.
“How could I not know?” Daly asked. “Great heart, great person, love at first sight. First date, love at first sight.”
For 47-year-old Moore, she felt the same way about Daly when sparks flew during their first date.
“I knew the first day,” she said. “I remember calling Cynthia from the show, and was like, ‘I just met my husband.’ It was that kind of chemistry.”
And the chemistry has stayed the same, this despite her Real Housewives of Atlanta co-stars claiming her marriage and husband were fraudulent because Daly hasn’t been on the show and the nuptials happened so fast.
“Honestly, I just laugh at it,” he said. “It is what it is. I know I’m real, and she knows I’m real and that’s all that matters.”
Moore also knows that her new husband has changed her for the better.
“When you finally are at peace with yourself and you find someone who centers you and who loves you unconditionally and they just bring out the best in you, you want to be a better person for them,” she said. “And I feel like I want to be a better person for not only myself but for my husband. I think we bring out the best in each other. I think that’s how it should be. I’ve never felt that before. I just felt, ‘I’m good’ and never felt I needed to work on myself and just elevate. I think my husband really just helps me to elevate and see things from a different perspective. And finally, having a team to be able to see things together is really amazing.”
And despite being an elevated couple, that doesn’t mean Moore’s husband appearing on RHOA is completely out of the question, especially with the reunion being filmed in the coming weeks.
“You may get a sneak peek. That’s all I’m going to say,” he said. “I never said that I refused to be on the show. I never said that.”
