Everyone has some fitness goals for the new year, and the race to reach them continues, even for the stars. Like the rest of us, they have to find time to make fitness a priority, and this week, many of your favorites did just that. From Angela Simmons pushing the #builtnotbought mantra while working out with a jump rope, to Michaela Coel showing us some complex yoga stretches, and Angela Bassett reminding us that when you take care of your body, you too can look fierce at 59, it’s been a great week to be motivated to move. Check out some of our favorite fitness moments from the last few days and be sure to find some time (even just a little) to put that body in motion.

Jordin Sparks

Early in the week, the expectant mom and her husband made a trip to the gym something of a sweet couple’s outing. Sometimes the best workouts are with a partner you love.

By all means get it done πŸ’ͺπŸΎβ€ΌοΈ #builtnotbought

Angela Simmons

Who said jumping rope was only for kids? Simmons shows that it’s the perfect addition to any workout.

Leslie Jones

You should already know that the 50-year-old comedian doesn’t play when it comes to the gym these days. She made the most of mutha—-in arm day.

Monyetta Shaw

Let Shaw remind you that treadmills aren’t just great for jogging while catching up on your shows. Step out of your comfort zone with these advanced moves on an incline that works for you.

Michaela Coel

Not only is Michaela Coel enjoying yoga in the hopes of being flexible enough to make men obsolete in her life, but she’s also found that it helps her center herself and “shut out the world.”

Full body werk. Who wants to try these moves this week?🔥 [tag your workout buddy] Everything for 3 rounds as many reps as you can do within 30s! That single leg single arm row and that single leg Tru-pause is no joke ! 🎶 @bustarhymes @leadersofmovement But did you die though 🙄🤦🏽‍♀️ WWW.MASSYARIAS.COM #workout #workoutmotivation #legday #butdidyoudie _____________________________________________________________ Trabajo de cuerpo completo 🔥 Sal de tu zona de comfort y dale! Massy Arias

What can one say about Massy Arias? The fitness star makes even the most difficult compound moves look effortless. And that’s probably why she was tapped as the new cover star for the latest issue of Women’s Health.

Angela Bassett

Bassett, who loves a complex workout and has taken great care of herself for years, was able to show off the muscle definition and youthfulness she’s maintained with the help of healthy living. She did that at the L.A. Black Panther premiere this week.

Tisha Campbell-Martin

In case you were wondering, Tisha still has the moves. She took part in and taught some choreography for a new track she released called “Don’t Wanna Be Alone Tonight.” Killed it!
