For his upcoming international stand-up series, the Irresponsible Tour, Kevin Hart has added 100 more dates (you read that correctly) following the massive success of his Jumanji remake.
To promote the tour, Hart has been doing ads that feature multiple versions of himself. The mogul, the actor, the athlete, the author and the comedian. These fictional personas all bump heads in an attempt to identify who is the best Kevin of all and really running things. But in a new ad, they all have to do deal with the person who is really running things, and that’s Kevin’s wife, Eniko.
She makes an appearance and starts ordering Kevin around as he meekly obliges her requests.
“The boss of what?” she asks the comedian after he tells his personas he’s the one in charge. “I’m going on tour with you. Ain’t gone be no more stupid sh-t. Take the bag and go get the baby.”
In an interview in December with The Breakfast Club, Hart admitted that after the scandal, it wasn’t easy for the couple to get back on track. But he was committed to fighting for his marriage. As you can see from the promo tour clip, moving forward has been working out well for them.
“You got to be patient and literally give your woman the time that she needs to recover from that and afterwards, still know that sh-t’s gonna come back up,” he said. “There’s days where we ride in the car and I catch her staring at the side of my face. I act like I don’t feel it. I just act like I don’t feel it and just keep driving. But I know. The difference is, I love my f–king wife. My wife know my heart. You know who your man is and what I stand for. You know the foundation we’ve built.”
You will likely hear more about the lessons the comedian learned from his public error in judgment when the Irresponsible Tour kicks off in March. The tour begins on March 23 in Baltimore, Maryland and ends on December 13, in of all places, Singapore.
