(WSJ) — The City Clerk’s Office opened its chapels to domestic partnership ceremonies for the first time Thursday, and just two same-sex couples turned out to take advantage of the city-ordained ritual. One opposite-sex couple also opted for the new ceremony, according to City Clerk Michael McSweeney. Neither of the couples intentionally set out to embrace the new ceremonies, he said.
