MOGULDOM MEDIA GROUP LAUNCHES MADAMENOIRE.COM
With New Website, Company Aims to Target Upwardly Mobile African-American Women
June 2, 2010 — Moguldom Media Group, the leading digital media company that develops premium online publishing brands serving African-American audiences, today announced the launch of MadameNoire.com, a website designed to engage upwardly mobile African-American women, an often overlooked demographic. MadameNoire’s content will focus on an “in context” approach to family, career, style, beauty, news, finance and entertainment. MadameNoire will be the latest online property to join Moguldom Media Group’s robust digital network, which already reaches approximately 2.7 million unique visitors each month (Google Analytics).
“Launching MadameNoire is the natural next step in the growth of Moguldom Media,” said Marve Frazier, Moguldom Media Group’s Chief Creative Officer. “Our business model is based on providing a fresh digital approach to audiences that are currently underserved. With MadameNoire, we are offering African-American women a new and quality online experience.”
With the African-American women’s market being one of the fastest-growing and most influential segments in business today, Moguldom is leveraging its economies of scale and established readership to reach this previously overlooked audience. The site will feature articles, interviews and opinion pieces to provide quality content to this niche demographic and engage them to inspire each other with user-generated content.
In addition to MadameNoire, the company’s properties also include Bossip, its flagship property; The Atlanta Post, a new online destination covering African-American business, media and politics; Hip-Hop Wired, a hip-hop news, culture and lifestyle destination; and BossipTwitter, a new blog dedicated to aggregating celebrity tweets. The portfolio will soon expand with two new sites, one focusing on men’s lifestyle and the other on sports.
