cardi b releases new documentary

Are you sick of seeing Cardi B yet? If you’re anything like her fans (which is pretty much everyone at  this point) then the answer is probably no, and thankfully our favorite “regular, shmegular” girl from the Bronx has plenty more projects on the way including a movie role that TMZ reports will start shooting in March causing the “Bodak Yellow” rapper to turn down other gigs that would’ve brought in $100,000-$200,000. The Bronx-bred Ms. Belcalis Almanzar with a big personality is now breaking records set by another famous “B” topping singer Beyoncé’s Billboard record when she became the first artist with five top 10 hits on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart simultaneously.

Up next on Cardi’s plan for world domination? A documentary, of course. Billboard reports Cardi B has a new documentary premiering on TIDAL entitled I’m Here Muthaf**kas in which the 25-year-old shares her rapid rise in the industry as she headlines the TIDAL x Moschino party at Art Basel Miami 2017.

In the film, Cardi B talks about how her relationship with the fashion industry has changed in the past few years:

“These fashion people, they so high-end.”

“I have to prove that a girl from the Bronx, I can bring that, I can represent you.”

Cardi B talks about Jeremy Scott’s Moschino Brand and reveals the designer is a big fan  referring to her as “a new, wild rocket that’s starting to challenge fashion” despite the fact that no more than four years ago she couldn’t afford his clothes. Cardi already has hit the ground running in the fashion world with a partnership with shoe brand Steve Madden, and debuted a collection with the designer last December.
