“That’s So Raven” Star Orlando Brown Arrested On Active Warrant After Family Dispute

January 19, 2018  |

Orlando Brown, best known for his role as Eddie Thomas on That’s So Raven, is back in the news again for something that, over the years, is just so Orlando. We told you that Raven’s Home, the spin-off to That’s So Raven, would not include the 30-year-old actor, and he had some choice words for all those involved. But the show premiered in July of last year, and so far, it seems to be doing pretty well with Disney viewers. However, Brown isn’t doing so well, but then again, what’s new? Unfortunately, every time his name is mentioned, he is experiencing some unfortunate event.

TMZ reported that Brown was arrested yesterday morning in Barstow, CA on an active warrant that the police weren’t initially looking for! Let me explain. Police were called to Brown’s home when he, his girlfriend and his girlfriend’s mother got into a loud argument. Although the police were there to calm down that situation, they decided to run a warrants check on the ex-Disney star, and boom! There was the active warrant. Not only did he have one, but his girlfriend’s mother had an active warrant out for her arrest, too.

According to People, his warrant originated from the Torrance Police Department in California, where, in 2016, it states that Brown has an alleged spousal battery charge, resisting a peace officer and possession of a controlled substance. Brown was booked at the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, and he posed rather cheerfully for his mug shot. The Shade Room posted the press release from the Police Department on its Instagram account, which includes the portrait:

Bail for the troubled star was set at $25,000. Although his latest behavior doesn’t come as a surprise, especially since he threatened to kill a woman and her child back in 2014 when she allegedly turned down his sexual advances, the man clearly needs some kind of intervention. We hope it happens soon because we all know what awaits someone with a long pattern of destructive behavior.
