New USA Series “Unsolved” Explores Investigation Into Tupac And Biggie’s Murders
Who killed Tupac and Biggie is one of those great debate questions to which we might never have an answer. But a new limited series from USA Network will at least help us understand why that’s so. Unsolved: The Murders of Tupac & The Notorious B.I.G is a scripted true crime series that explores the LAPD investigations into the murders of the slain rappers.
Specifically, the series will center on two different investigations into the killings of the young hip-hop legends: One led by Detective Russell Poole (Jimmi Simpson) in 1997 and the other in 2007 when Detective Greg Kading (Josh Duhamel) headed up a multi law-enforcement task force that reopened the case. The series features the usual players like Biggie (Wavyy Jonez), Tupac (Marcc Rose), Suge Knight (Dominic L. Santana), and Diddy (Luke James). And some of our favorite ladies star in supporting roles, for example, Aisha Hinds plays Notorious B.I.G.’s mother, Voletta Wallace, and LeToya Luckett portrays Suge Knight’s ex-wife Sharitha Golden.
