Kenya Moore And Husband Ready To Start Family, Head To The Caribbean To Undergo IVF Process
Kenya Moore has been open about her desire to have a child for years now, often sharing her story and plans on Real Housewives of Atlanta. Now that she is married (to husband Marc Daly, 47), the reality star finally seems to have the ideal situation in place to bring a child into this world. So she’s actively working on making that happen.

According to TMZ, and images obtained by the site, Moore, 46, has traveled to the Caribbean to obtain IVF treatments at the acclaimed Barbados Fertility Centre. She was seen going in and out of the facility this week, and TMZ confirmed with Moore’s “camp” that she is undergoing treatments currently, though they didn’t specify where she is in the process. Daly will reportedly join his wife on Friday and she will stay in Barbados for a few weeks while going through the procedures.
Filming of Season 10 has already finished, so there are no cameras from the show following her through the process. However, she will supposedly share her story during the reunion early next year.
In the past, Moore has defended her strong desire to have a child, even to members of her own family.
“I’m so tired of not having my own family,” she said during an episode filmed in 2013. ‘The relationship I had with my mother has left me with a huge void in my life and having a child of my own will, in some way, repair that void.”
And soon after tying the knot with Daly in June, Moore told PEOPLE that she’d finally found someone with a similarly strong desire to expand their family.
“We both want to start a family and soon,” she said, “like, right away.”
