We Had It All Wrong As Kids: Delicious Ways To Do Brussels Sprouts

Who wants Brussels sprouts?!

If you still think about the leafy green vegetable in the same way that you did as a kid, your answer is probably, “Not me!” But if you’re having as much fun as quite a few folks are having with this tiny and delicious member of the cabbage family, then you’re likely #teamBrussels all the way. While they caught a bad rap for quite some time, these days, with the right seasonings, ingredients and imagination, people have managed to make them quite the flavorful treat to eat at just about any time and with anything. They have eaten them with eggs for breakfast, thrown them in a salad for lunch and roasted them for dinner. They’re even making more and more appearances on people’s tables for Thanksgiving. Don’t sleep.

I prefer mine with garlic, pepper, onions and Lawry’s seasoning salt (I enjoy that with everything) and paired with pan-seared or baked chicken, but the options are endless when it comes to integrating these veggies into your meals.
