Since the birth of her son Sebastian, the most we’ve heard about Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa as parents is that they believe in dressing their little boy in weed booties. But what we didn’t know was that Amber Rose took the job of bringing her son into the world very seriously. She had done a lot research including watching the Ricki Lake produced documentary, The Business of Being Born. In the film Ricki takes the audience on a very real, very graphic look into the at home water-birth.

After watching the film, Rose decided that she too wanted to have a water birth. But as you may know when you make plans for your children, they rarely go down the way you envision. Very late in her pregnancy, like 37 weeks, she learned that little Sebastian was breech. Still she was adamant about wanting to have her baby at home. In an interview with Ricki Lake she explained that she tried acupuncture and inversion where doctors attempt to manually move the baby. None of that worked and she ultimately had to have a c-section.

“It literally took me the whole time to prepare myself for a water birth that in an instant I was gonna get my abdomen cut open and major surgery. I’ve never had surgery before so I was really, really scared.”

Wiz Khalifa wouldn’t mind if his son Sebastian had play dates with baby mama Amber Rose’s ex-boyfriend Kanye West‘s future child.

A source close to the couple said: “He is so devoted to being a great father and is crazy in love with Amber. He even joked that he would love to have playdates with Kanye [West] if things weren’t so awkward.”

Apparently Wiz is still friendly with Kanye, and doesn’t see what the big deal is. I mean Kanye and Kim were so over in 2010.

Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa are arguably one of hip-hop’s favorite couples. The love birds have no issues with professing their love for one another and really appear to compliment each other. They’re also a couple that really loves ink. Yesterday, the new mom shared that she combined her love for Wiz with her love for body art when she posted a photo to her Instagram page that showed a portrait of a smiling, seemingly under the influence, Wiz Khalifa tattooed on her arm with a caption that read:

“True Love #Cam&Amb ”

It goes without saying that Amb’s little work of art received mixed reviews, but rapper Wale seems to be cosigning on the bald beauty’s permanent gesture of love.

Amber also excitedly shared that she got a portrait of her mom Dottie back in her heyday inked onto her arm as well.

In other Wiz Khalifa news, the rapper recently hit up The Breakfast Club for an interview. When asked about how he felt about the controversy surrounding his baby’s weed socks, the “Black and Yellow” rapper responded:

“Oh, yeah, yeah yeah. Who was mad about that? They can go eff themselves. Weed is legal bruh. The leaf represents peace, prosperity, togetherness.”

We told you earlier in the week that some people were criticizing Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose for posting a picture of their almost two-month-old son, Bash, wearing socks that were designed with marijuana leaves all over them. As a caption for the photo, Khalifa said, “Like father like son #HUFsocks.” HUF is a brand of clothing and accessories if you are wondering, and many of the products are covered in marijuana leaves. But anywho, the lighthearted photo had a few people questioning if you should really have your children wearing clothing that promotes the use of marijuana, especially since we’re talking about a newborn. On her show earlier this week, Wendy Williams said, it’s too much too soon to publicly be doing and showing off:

“So here’s my thought–my thought is Sabastian is only less than two months old. And I get it that Wiz loves to smoke his weed, I get that it marijuana is soon to legalized everywhere, but I just feel it’s gone too far by posting this picture. And I’m no cornball; I’m a cool lady–especially at home. There are some things that are suppose to be at home things…That’s close door conversation; it’s not to be Instagram’ed. Oh you crazy kids.”

Well, that same day (Tuesday) Amber Rose got on her Twitter to express her own feelings about other people’s feelings about the way she and Wiz are parenting their son, and she basically was just asking those who are so concerned to do her a favor and shut the you-know-what up. Here’s the tweet:

Well, dang. No matter what people think though, these are new parents. They’re learning how to care for their own child, and they’ve got years to get it right.  While they won’t always do things in a traditional manner (clearly), it wouldn’t hurt to give them a break.

Question anyone who smokes the herbal green and they’ll likely tell you “ain’t nothin’ wrong with a little bud,” but is there something just slightly inappropriate about trees on baby apparel?  If you think like Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose that answer is probably no.

Amber recently posted a somewhat suspect picture of her husband or husband-to-be holding their baby boy Sebastian and wearing a pair of baby socks with a rather grown up symbol on them: MaryJane leaves. The new mother proudly Instagrammed the photo with the caption, ”Like father like son #HUFsocks :-),” and was hit with more than a few “WTFs” from her followers who questioned why a parent would want their child sporting that type of clothing. But since we all know Wiz and Amber are totally about that life — as are most of their fans — the majority of commenters sought to shut down the judgmental posts and defended the clothing saying things to the effect of “they’re just socks” and “it’s not like they stuck a blunt in their son’s mouth.”

That may be true, and as I know someone is inevitably going to point out, this is not my child nor anyone elses’s but theirs, but there’s just something that’s ultimately “not cute” about a baby rocking drug paraphernalia. I don’t think anyone will be surprised to see Wiz and “Bash” having a father-son smoke session a la Snoop Dog and son on whatever social media we’re all fawning over down the line when Sebastian is 12/15 or something ,but I rather not have images of newborns puff puffing and passing in my mind at this innocent stage of their life. There’s plenty of time for him to get into the cannibus when he’s older.

If only every new mommy could look this good after giving birth.

While most new mothers are still trying to find just 3 minutes to take a hot shower and change their sweats between breast feeding and changing diapers, Amber Rose is proving with a little money, foundation, and a fresh haircut, you can be back to your pre-baby shine in no time. Yesterday, Wiz Khalifa’s Mrs tweeted the side-by-side Instagram pic above with the caption:

3 weeks after giving birth to Sebastian and I feel amazing!

It’s no secret that she looks amazing too, with her freshly cut blonde head and red pouty lip. And even though the girls are still large and in charge, it’s nice to see her in something a little flowy and soft for once, isn’t it?

I also can’t help but notice that rock on her ring finger that could either still be the engagement ring Wiz gave Amber — or a symbol that the two carried out their plan to be officially hitched before the baby came.  Either way, it’s good to see these two are doing well with their new lil man.

The longest pregnancy in the history of celebrity baby bumps has finally come to an end!

Yesterday, Wiz Khalifa tweeted a photo of he and Amber’s unborn baby’s heart monitor letting us know his little boy was coming soon, and many assumed their bundle was already here. Amber had to hit the Twitterverse and correct that rumor, saying:

“Good morning Rosebuds & Rosestuds Muva is not in labor nor did I have the baby yet I just had a doc appt yesterday Lol that’s all.  ,” she tweeted. “I got a million congratulation texts yesterday for having the baby… It was sweet but our Chicken nugget is still baking.  .”

“My due date isn’t until Feb 24th & this is my first baby so he may come early he may come late but either way he’ll be here soon -Muva.”

“Soon” turned into today when news broke again on Twitter that little Sebastian Taylor Thomaz was born. Proud papa Khalifa tweeted:

“Happy Birthday Sebastian “The Bash” Taylor Thomaz!!! Everyone welcome this perfect young man into the world”

According to Hip Hop Wired, Amber went through with her plan to have her baby at home so it sounds like everything is safe and well all around. Congratulations!
