Damage Control? Drake Says He Didn’t Do Anything Wrong In Chris Brown Fight
Drake is so not about that life—so his people would have you believe. After tons of reports yesterday about the fight that broke out between him and Chris Brown at a club in NYC, Drizzy’s people have put out a statement that he was not involved in the altercation whatsoever. According to a statement from his rep:
“Drake did not participate in any wrongdoing of any kind last night at W.i.P. He was on his way out of the club when the altercation began. He did not engage in any activity which resulted in injury to person or damage to property.”
This statement is likely being put out there considering the NYPD has now gotten involved and the fact that it wasn’t just bouncers and security guards who were caught in the crossfire. This Australian tourist had to be taken to the hospital after she was smashed upside the head with a bottle too during the tussle. Anyone else hear the sounds of a lawsuit coming?
There is the curious question of a note Drake is said to have sent Chris Brown along with a bottle of Ace of Spades while at the club though. Sources supposedly told the New York Post that it read:
“I am f***ing the love of your life. Deal with it.”
Sounds a tad out of character for Drake, but 21-year-old model Ingrid Gutierrez, who was at Chris table, somewhat corroborated the story, but said Chris sent the bottle to Drake.
“I saw him tell the waitress to send a bottle to Drake’s table. I then saw a waitress come back with a piece of paper and gave it to Chris…He looked upset and just threw it on the floor.
“They were giving him [Brown] the middle finger. They got into each other’s faces and were shouting at each other…Chris told Drake to f*** off, and the next thing I could hear is the sound smashed glass and mayhem started. Chris didn’t swing back, he just tried to brush them off. He told us, ‘Let’s go,’ but there were bottles flying at us. I saw one bottle was thrown, it looked like a vodka bottle, and hit Chris on the face…The anger from Drake’s entourage was terrifying….There was blood gushing out of Chris’ chin..”
It’s too late for Chris Brown to try to pull a Drake and claim he wasn’t involved in anything, especially after those tweets and twit pics, but he seems to be enjoying being the victim for once.
According to TMZ, Chris’s lawyer, Mark Geragos, went to the NYPD late yesterday to present evidence showing that Drake and Meek Mill were the aggressors. Could that be the mysterious note? NYPD told the site Chris is not currently a suspect but rather “a witness and a victim,” but they also said Drake isn’t a suspect either and that he’s been “cooperating” with authorities.
Other sources say the real aggressor may have been someone in Chris’s camp who was inciting Drake and his crew throughout the night. That I can believe. I’d like to think Chris and Drake are conscious enough of their brands to not be this reckless at a club, but you know what happens when somebody in the entourage starts felling himself and then it’s too late and you have this type of drama.
If you had to guess, who would you think started the fight between Drake and Chris?

When Tweef Gets Real: Drake and Chris Brown Come To Bottle Blows At The Club
This, ladies and gentlemen, is why you don’t talk ish on Twitter. Eventually you will see the person you were popping off at from the keyboard in public and they will proceed to fight you, or in this case, hit you with a bottle.
Details are sketchy (so don’t say we’re trying to misrepresent anything) but from what we’ve read and seen, Drake and Chris Brown had it out in a New York club last night and it was a hot mess. Both guys were at Whip in NYC celebrating Teyana Taylor’s signing to GOOD Music, and there were plenty of other celebs in attendance like Wale, Trey Songz, Meek Mill, and Chris’s girlfriend, Karrueche. You can already see the potential for foolery considering the rumored beef Chris, Drake, and Meek Mill are said to be having over Rihanna, and last night it came to a head with a bottle thrown at Chris Brown’s head, literally.
Well, it was more like his chin actually, as you see from the pic he uploaded above, and it was all courtesy of Mr. Aubrey Drake Graham. There are lots of different accounts for what led to that bottle hitting Chris but the bottom line was two emotional egos collided in a small space, both got to popping off at the mouth, and then one’s face collided with a bottle. And if you thought that this fight would have taught at least one of them a lesson about running their mouths online, think again. The Jasmine Brand caught this series of tweets from Breezy, that have since been deleted of course, but show he has no plans of killing the tweef.
Going hard, right? Meek Mills was the smartest one out of the group. He stayed completely clear of the juvenille drama and even tweeted this so everyone would know:
“It wasn’t me….(shaggy voice) lol”
Karrueche Tran sent out an odd tweet last night that read, “Wreckless love I tell you.” I’m not exactly sure what that means but I know if my man was fighting another dude over his ex in front of me, I would feel some type of way.
What’s hilarious is I imagine Rihanna is sitting somewhere eating popcorn with an evil grin on her face watching these fools act a fool over her. SMH when will they learn?
