Actress Vivica A. Fox hasn’t given up on finding her dream guy.

At 48, Fox says she’s single and loving it. In a recent interview with EURweb, the star, whose 10-month engagement to 29-year-old club promoter Omar “Slimm” White ended abruptly in 2011, opens up about the value of holding out for the right man.

“I’m gonna wait for Mr. Right to come along and take my time,” Fox said. “I’m just enjoying just having a little me time, you know? But it’s not that I’m not taking applications.”

There’s absolutely nothing wrong with that, Auntie Viv. You can check out the rest over on Essence.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Style to Steal or Girl, Stop Fridays! Well, even if it’s not for you, we love ogling the fashion choices of some of our favorite sistahs. This week we saw an uptick in booties, and fall shades and colors were popping up all over the red carpets and sidewalks. Don’t believe me? Check out these ensembles and stars and let us know whose look you would steal and which ones you would stop.

Hey hey now! While you were somewhere at work focusing on your assignments or reading Madame Noire (*winks*), Vivica A. Fox was making her way to “Good Morning America” yesterday in NYC. She stepped on the concrete in a knee-length red Escada dress, a large black croc-embossed clutch and printed, peep-toe Louboutins. She even had her diva glasses on upon entrance, and kept the jewelry icy with long diamond earrings and a diamond ring. The Escada dress was a long-sleeved number with a wrap neckline and a slit above the chest. All in all, especially with this longer and darker wig, this is the best I think I’ve seen Viv look in a while. Plus, the outfit is just simply cute and would look good on anybody. Fresh faced and elegant in this look. Steal!

Though you may or may not know it, most of the A-list celebs that star in the major box office movies and populate the pages of gossip mags got their start on Soap Operas—the daily melodramatic “stories” that are a favorite among housewives and retired grannies.  These episodic dramas have spawned the acting careers of some of Hollywood’s hottest celebs from their drawn out story lines, tawdry love triangles and notorious cat fights.

Style to Steal or Girl, Stop: Regina King, Vivica A. Fox, Venus & Serena and More!

We had the chance to showcase the brothas last week and all their fashion dos and faux pas for the NBA Finals, but now it’s back to the sistas! Let’s see what some of our favorite ladies were up to fashion wise this week.

Everyone’s favorite child star turned success, Regina King, showed up for the Critics’ Choice Television awards in Beverly Hills in this red number with an asymmetrical top. The bright red number had embroidery all over and a lace overlay at the chest. Around the waist was a red sash, and to accessorize, she wore a David Yurman gold tapestry ring and diamond pave cabled cuff bracelet, satin red peep-toe slingbacks, and a cream and gold snakeskin clutch. The hair (which me-thinks is a fab wig) looks good and her makeup is pretty. As a whole, this outfit suits her frame and is not too over-the-top. I probably would have worn different colored shoes so that there would be some fun contrast, but she still looks good. Steal.

Should We Call It A Comeback? Vivica Possibly Starring in New Bill Bellamy Sitcom

A new sitcom reportedly starring Bill Bellamy and Vivica A. Fox could make for a big comeback for both stars who’ve been off the A-list radar for a little while now.

Some time ago there was word that Byron Allen’s company, Entertainment Studios, was developing a sitcom for comedian and actor Bill Bellamy to star in alongside fellow comedian Jon Lovitz. According to Humormillmag.com, the show is supposed to air on either TBS or TNT and word is Vivica A. Fox was just offered a starring roll.

The show will be about Bellamy’s character, a potential Hollywood star who ends up in trouble with the law, and is court ordered to do community service which lands him in South Central LA. His character ends up loving the kids that he is supposed to mentor and then he finds himself not wanting to go back to Hollywood. Lovitz will play his agent who is constantly trying to lure him back to the actor’s city. I assume Vivica will be his love interest but her part hasn’t been explicitly stated just yet.

Bill Bellamy is also in talks with CBS for a self-titled show that would air in 2013 so he may soon find his acting card full again. Vivica is also expected to star in three new films, “Queen City,” “Mission Park,” and “Caught On Tape.” Yay for black actors working.

What do you think about Vivica and Bill in this sitcom together?
