Finely groomed gray-haired men are proof that as males age, they just look more distinguished, more elegant and, in general, more like they’d know how to make you feel like a woman. Here are 15 salt and pepper celebrities we wouldn’t mind growing older with (if they were all single).
Everything about this man says distinguished gentleman and though it’s sometimes hard to believe celebrity endorsements, whenever we hear him on AllState commercials we really do feel like we’re in good hands.
Romeo Miller Snags Lead Role In Male Stripper Film, “Chocolate City” Starring Michael Jai White And Tyson Beckford
Is it getting hot in here?
We told you last week about director Jean-Claude LaMarre’s new film project, Chocolate City, which hopes to be a diverse answer (with a deeper storyline) to Magic Mike. Set to star Michael Jai White and Tyson Beckford, it follows the seedy underworld (just kidding, I just wanted to use those words in a story) of black male strippers, specifically the main character of Devin.
According to Deadline, Romeo Miller has just been cast to play the lead role in the film. Yep, he’s going from Nickelodeon to the strip club.
Miller’s character will be a young college student who finds his way into exotic dancing as a way to pay his bills. His new side hustle puts a strain on his relationship with his girlfriend, and causes inner turmoil for Devin because it conflicts with his conservative religious upbringing.
Beckford plays a stripper who has his limelight stolen by Devin, and White will be the owner of the male strip club.
When speaking on how he came up with the idea for the film, LaMarre had this to say:
“This movie was in gestation for two and a half years, but after Magic Mike it seemed a natural fit for the African-American female audience. I researched the male exotic club scene across the country, with clubs specifically targeting middle-aged African American women.”
Shooting for the film will begin in June. This is a very provocative role for Miller to take on, but he’s got the body to pull it off, am I right?
Are You Ready For The Black “Magic Mike”? Michael Jai White And Tyson Beckford To Star In “Chocolate City”
If you’re one of those women who left a screening of Magic Mike and felt a little less than stimulated, this new project may be more of your speed. After Magic Mike was criticized for lacking diversity, director Jean-Claude LaMarre seems to be offering a solution with his new film Chocolate City.
Like Magic Mike, Chocolate CIty will take audiences into the world of male strippers, except this time they’re black.
According to Deadline, the film’s main character Devin is “a college student struggling to make ends meet when he meets the owner of a male strip club (played by Michael Jai White) who convinces him to give amateur night a whirl.”
Unlike Magic Mike though, there’s a spiritual component at work with the main character. Devin struggles to balance his religious upbringing with his stripping career.
Tyson Beckford will also star in the film as Adrian, “the club’s former star attraction who finds his popularity fading as the new kid starts to steal the spotlight.”
LaMarre said he’s been working on this piece for a while.
“This movie was in gestation for two and a half years. but after Magic Mike it seemed a natural fit for the African-American female audience. I researched the male exotic club scene across the country, with clubs specifically targeting middle-aged African American women.”
LaMarre has a deal with Eone’s urban features division but is hoping a major studio will pick up rights to the film and take Chocolate CIty to theaters with a rollout first to urban markets, the same areas where women are known to frequent strip clubs.
While White and Beckford have signed on for the project, the part of the lead character has yet to be fulfilled.
Production on the film is said to begin next month in Los Angeles.
A fatal collision occurred in Greenwich Village early yesterday morning when a truck plowed into a city bus. The bus’ operator, William Pena, was thrown from the vehicle. He later died beneath the wheels of the bus. The driver of the truck was 22-year-old Domonic Whilby of Georgia, reports The New York Daily News.
Just hours before the pre dawn collision, Whilby was celebrating at a birthday bash at club 1 Oak for supermodel Shanina Shaik with his famous uncle, Tyson Beckford. Sources say that after a night of hard partying Whilby was escorted from the club around 3:30 am and was thrown out of Dream Downtown Hotel after he passed out on the second floor. Onlookers say that he became irritated when he was unable to locate the limousine that was scheduled to pick him up. The super at two W. 16th St. apartment buildings, Victor Vega, says that he witnessed Whilby randomly pound on multiple apartment doors.
“He was sweating like a mad dog,” said Vega. “He had to be high on drugs. He started kicking and banging the doors.”
Shortly after, Vega says Whilby jumped into a running 10 Rabbits Granola truck and sped away after the truck’s driver got out to make an early morning delivery. One witness tells NYDN that Whilby blew though a red light just moments before the fatal crash.
“It’s just the wrong place at the wrong time, I guess,” said the victim’s cousin, Edwin Espinal. “That’s what happened to William — an honest, working guy and he paid the consequences. Unbelievable.”
“William was a great person,” added Pena’s brother, Alex Pena. “I can’t say no more about him, great person … He was a great guy every way you can put it.”
Four others were injured in the accident, including a person on a scooter, who was dragged 50 ft.
“He didn’t even brake,” said Eddie Abdelmoty. “My tires blew up … He went right through the red light at the end of the block.”
Police say Whilby suffered minor neck injuries. Once apprehended by officers, he was taken to Bellevue Hospital where he was likely tested for drugs and alcohol. He is facing 10 charges, some of which include manslaughter, two counts of grand larceny, three counts of criminal assault, criminal mischief and criminal trespass.
Pena leaves behind a wife and 14-year-old daughter. Beckford’s manager has declined to comment on the tragedy.
Tyson Beckford Gets Close With Transgender Model Ines Rau For Magazine Spread And It Has Folks Talking
Here’s a side to Tyson Beckford we rarely get to see, and when I say “side,” I mean his backside, all oiled and glistening under the lights…
According to FabMagazine, an editorial in the latest issue of French beauty and luxe magazine Oob has paired the 42-year-old former Ralph Lauren Polo model with transgender, rising model Ines Rau for a series of very hot, and very “nekkid” pictures, which are setting the Internet on fire. Brightly entitled In Our Skin, the series of photos takes on both literal and figurative meaning, as both Tyson and Rau’s bodies are intertwined and harmoniously posed for the majority of the black and white spread (they’re a little too raunchy for our site, but see the full images here). But what makes the spread both provocative and controversial (aka viral-worthy) is that it features Tyson posed crotch-to-crotch with Rau and teasingly biting at her lip. Those kind of pictures tend to rehash all sorts of speculation about his sexuality. Why? Because what straight man would pose unclothed in such compromising positions with a transgender woman?
The answer, of course, is a working model, whose job it is to be professional and model. Oh, and a non-homophobe, who in a previous interview with BET, addressed the gay rumors by saying, “Yeah, it’s just one hater that put that on me. But, don’t get me wrong, I work with GLAAD, I work with Gay Men’s Health Crisis—I work with all of that. It’s just I’m a straight man who got a little bit of style so they just say, ‘He’s gay.’”
Nevertheless, it would be hard not to feign some excitement or fascination over the photos, specifically awing at the stunningly beautiful and graceful Rau and pondering how her visibility, alongside one of the sexiest men alive, might impact how society perceives and respects trans women. The website Models.com has an interview with the French/North African model about being transgender in the modeling industry, and she credits as her inspiration Caroline Cossey, aka Tula, the English-born transgender supermodel, most notably known for her role in James Bond films and posing fully unclothed in Playboy. According to Models.com, Rau said:
“After reading her book [I Am Woman] at least two times I realized how important it is to assume who you are with no fears. I am twenty-four years old and have done the change very young, at 16. Until now I wasn’t really out about it. I just woke up one day realizing that it’s enough, I need to embrace who I am and be loved for what I am and what I have been through- without the fear of being rejected.”
Later in the interview, Rau also gives advice to young folks, who too are struggling with gender identity:
“I would tell them to follow what’s in their hearts and to not be scared to do what they have to do if necessary. But very important to have consulted specialists to make sure that changing your body is the right answer. Having a sex change is not the answer to insecurities or other issues, a lot of transgender do not understand that it has to be done with reflection: because of a real deep desire to be a woman from a younger age. It’s fabulous the level of happiness- it’s just absolutely impossible to describe. I’m the happiest girl in the world, just being what I wanted to be. You have to love yourself enough to go for it without the fear of being judged or rejected. That’s my advice for them.”
I think that is beautiful advice for any person struggling with self-acceptance. Other trans woman models who have managed to find success in the industry include Nicole Gibson, Brazilian models Lea T and Roberta Close, and American Next Top Model Contestant Isis King. With such success, you can expect more spreads like this, and we’re all for it.
Sometimes a director will create a music video so raw and emotional we can’t help but think “darn you” as we reach for tissues and wipe away tears after a three-to-five minute emotional roller coaster of a video. That’s precisely the reaction we had when it comes to the items in this list. Here are 15 of the saddest music videos ever made.
Aaron Hall – “I Miss You”

These fellas can have us breaking our necks to see them at times, but when they open their mouths we think, this can’t be real. Between Chris Brown’s twitter rants, Wale threatening Amanda Diva, and other celebrity jerks we can’t handle the disappointment. These entertainers might be easy on the eyes, but what comes out their mouths is certainly difficult to digest. Click through 15 fine men we love to hate.
Getting older certainly isn’t easy and while some men age with grace and dignity, these 15 stars have been anything but graceful. And quite honestly, we think they’re going through something, say a mid-life crisis?
John Kerry ran for president in 2008, but after losing out to the incumbent President Bush, Kerry went back to work on Capitol Hill as a senator. Earlier this year, President Obama tapped Kerry to replace Hillary Clinton as the Secretary of State. And while he has a lot on his plate dealing with various international issues and the recent events of a chemical gas attack in Syria, Kerry’s change of appearance has a lot of people talking. Sixty-nine-year-old Kerry’s droopy face has been looking less droopy and even a little wider. His rep attributes the new look to exhaustion but a bad Botox injection or recent plastic surgery to the face can also be the cause, as some have speculated.
Back in the day, everybody had somebody they’d see in a movie or on television and say, “DAMN he’s fine!” Like the Idris Elbas and Lenny Kravitzs of today, in the ’90s and earlier we were fanning ourselves over these good looking guys. While some of our crushes didn’t blossom the way we thought they would, the good news is, these fellas just kept on looking good. Here are 14 fine men we used to crush on who managed to somehow stay delicious years (and a few kids) later.

Have you ever thought that some men were prettier than their women, and if not prettier than at least more high maintenance? It might be their grooming or their mannerisms, or maybe even something you just can’t quite put your finger on, but trust me, you know the feeling.
Before you get to clicking I should probably say that there’s real no concrete evidence that any of these men are prima donnas, but based on appearances – which are sometimes telling and sometimes not – these fifteen celebs seem to fit the bill. Of course “pretty” is a matter of opinion here, but feel free to throw yours about these pretty boy floyds in the comments section below.
Prince and his girlfriend Bria Valente may look a lot alike – thanks to their surgeon I suppose, but I dare say Prince is the prettier of the two, and considering his eccentricity – probably the more high maintenance of the two as well. Prince must not only be barbered to perfection, but also made up to perfection, hair styled to perfection, and clothed to perfection. And perfection ain’t easy, or quick.
