Tamar is the Braxton sister we either love to hate or hate to love. She’s definitely an acquired taste. But in a recent interview with Ebony.com, Tamar shed some light on why she is the way she is. If you watch Braxton Family Values faithfully, you may remember the episode where Tamar remembers how she was in two abusive relationships, back to back. She told the story of how one boyfriend drug her out of her apartment by her hair. (Sounds like something out of a Tyler Perry movie.)

Here’s what she had to say about the relationships:

“I can’t make anybody believe, I can’t change anybody’s mind about anything. (The abuse,) it happened. I’m not all the way comfortable with sharing a lot of what happened to me (yet), but what I said was true. When I’m ready to talk about my abusive past I will, I’m sorry that I’m not. But if it wasn’t for (God), I wouldn’t be here.”

She said being abused and feeling like she had no power or say in her relationships “definitely, definitely, definitely” play a role in the way she interacts with people today. She says wanting to attack before she can be attacked is a defense mechanism.

“I haven’t always been vocal about my feelings, especially in a relationship. Now, I make sure that I’m very vocal about my feelings, everybody knows how I feel.  Sometimes it’s over the top and most of the time it’s ‘Team Too-Much,’ But I have to do a lot. (I was) a shy person who had self-esteem issues trying to figure it out — now,  I’ve gotten over my hangovers. You say, I’m comfortable and confident, it took a long time to get there. Maybe like a year or so before “Braxton Family Values,” I wasn’t that person. I was faking it til I make it, pretty much.”

But Tamar Braxton wants to share the experience with her fans and followers via the next season of “Tamar & Vince.” Maybe this episode should be called, “Tamar” because she’s moving forward with the taping of those precious, gut-wrenching moments despite her husband’s wishes.

“My husband’s not comfortable with any of this,” she stated with a giggle before collecting her thoughts. Tamar is a little more open to the idea because she feels that it’s only right to continue bringing fans along for the rest of the journey that she started last season on “Braxton Family Values” and her own spin-off.

Five years ago, most of us had no idea who Tamar Braxton was. (Some of ya’ll had the album but most of you didn’t.) Well, all of that changed when “Braxton Family Values” hit We TV. Now, when you think of the Braxton sisters, Tamar’s name must be a part of the conversation. While Toni sang her way into our hearts. Tamar chatted her way in our affections and sometimes our nerves. Last month, we put Tamar Braxton on official baby bump watch after she made an appearance on 106 and Park wearing a rather baggy one-piece  Matthew Williamson jumpsuit. This morning while she and her sisters were promoting the upcoming season of Braxton Family Values during an appearance on Good Morning America, the “Love and War” singer confirmed that she and hubby Vincent Herbert are expecting their first child!

“I have a love on top. I’m pregnant,” she gleefully told the audience.

“I feel great and greedy at the same time. This is the most I’ve eaten ever,” she continued.

As far as how soon we can expect for a little Tamar or Vince to enter the world, the mom-to-be says the baby will be here in no time.

“I don’t have that many months to go. Almost there!”

She also posted an adorable photo of Vince holding her baby bump to Instagram and Twitter with a caption that read:

“#BeEpic!”

Fans are ecstatic about the news and her Twitter mentions are filled with well wishes. This is amazing news for the couple as they have each expressed interest in starting a family.

In other Tamar Braxton news, during an interview with Power 105.1′s The Breakfast Club, the youngest Braxton sister revealed that she will not be returning to Tiny Tonight.

“I’m not on that show anymore. Well you know, I only actually agreed to do two from the beginning. Because Tiny and I are really, really good friends. Everyone knows that. So like I told her I would do it and that was it. I’m saying that I wasn’t scheduled to do it in the first place,” she said.

She also expressed that she definitely has a problem with Claudia Jordan.

“Hell yeah. Even with your girlfriends, you just can’t sit up and talk about somebody’s man like that. You know what I mean?”

Ironically, Tamar is known for running down her sisters’ husbands, which they quickly pointed out.

“I’m growing,” she humorously replied.

It looks like Tamar Braxton could possibly be joining the celebrity mommys club soon. In celebration of Valentine’s Day yesterday, the “Love and War” singer, accompanied by supportive hubby Vince Herbert paid a visit to the “livest audience” over at BET’s 106 and Park. During her visit she chatted it up with the hosts about her upcoming album and how it feels to work with her spouse, played a cute little game called “Know Your Boo” and treated the studio audience to a live performance.

Now we could be overthinking things, but what’s interesting to note about the youngest Braxton sister’s appearance on the show, is that overall, she made a lot of side poses. Not to mention the rather baggie Matthew Williamson one-piece jumpsuit she wore, which caused many eyebrows to raise. In addition to all of this, sources who were at the show tell the YBF that between filming, Tamar’s stylist continuously came out to adjust the waistband of her jumpsuit, as if they were attempting to camouflage or hide something. You know, like a slightly protruding baby bump!

As previously stated, we could be overthinking things and thus far, these are all speculations. But, doesn’t she appear to glowing as well? That would be wonderful news for Vince, who has made it quite obvious that he’s ready for a little one and she is the only Braxton sister that hasn’t had children yet. It seems that only time will reveal whether or not Tamar is a mommy-to-be, but we’ve officially got our eyes on “her” and we’ll keep you posted!

Our problem child Tamar Braxton is known for running her trap. I mean just about anything can come out of her mouth at any given moment. But, the youngest Braxton sister seems to be considering changing her blabber mouth ways. After finding herself in the midst of a Twitter war with Beyonce stans and “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” star Joseline Hernandez over some not so nice comments she made while co-hosting VH1′s Tiny Tonight, Tamar is claiming to have learned her lesson. In an interview with Power 105.1′s The Breakfast Club, she even somewhat implied that she will begin filtering her thoughts before allowing them to come out of her mouth. Now wouldn’t that be something?

She expressed to host Angela Yee that with her newfound fame comes the constant scrutiny of her words.

“Whatever you say out of your mouth is like verbatim. Like ‘That’s what you said so that’s what you mean’. Well, no, not really.”

Tamar’s hubby Vince also chimed in on the conversation.

“I tell Tamar that sometimes she can’t speak all the time what she feels. But, you know she does make comments and we’re working on a talk show and things of that nature… It just happens. That’s what girlfriends do when they sit around and talk… Nobody gets mad when Joan Rivers says some crazy stuff about somebody.”

It seems that “Love & Hip Hop” star Joseline’s reaction to her negative comments is what really caused Tamar to consider how her words were impacting others.

“I’ve never even met her and I did feel bad about saying that. I was actually speaking about what everybody else was saying. I didn’t really take into consideration that she has feelings.I used to get bullied. I use to really get my feelings hurt on a daily basis. It was tough for me. So when I heard her frustration when she was talking about ‘I will fight her’ and ‘I fight old chicks’ and whatever she wants to say I was like ‘Oh, she’s hurt. So, I’m sorry.’”

I suppose we’ll have to wait and see if Tamar has really learned her lesson.

I always get a chuckle when I think of how our reality television problem child, Tamar Braxton-Herbert’s blabber almost always lands her in hot water and not just with her co-stars, but with stars from other reality shows as well. Her most recent offense has been against Love and Hip Hop Atlanta star, Joseline Hernandez. Tamar recently appeared as a host on nighttime talk show Tiny Tonight along with Trina and Claudia Jordan and during a year-end  entertainment recap, the ladies wound up on the subject of the infamous Love and Hip Hop Atlanta love triangle between Stevie J, Mimi Faust and Joseline Hernandez. Tamar of course, the most outspoken of the bunch, proceeded to call Joseline a man.

Ms. Hernandez, obviously angered by Tamar’s comments, confronted Tamar via Twitter before hurling a tirade of insults at her. First Joseline, flipped the script on Tamar, saying that she was the one with man parts and then proceeded to call her a grandma. If you know Joseline, you know she didn’t stop there. A few days later, she appeared on Kandi Burruss’ online show, Kandi Koated Nights, where she continued to discuss the situation and go at Tamar.

Two weeks later, I guess Tamar has recognized the error of her ways because the “Love and War” singer issued a half-apology to Joseline via her Twitter page.

“I should says sorry2 @joseline cause I was only joking during a year in review show. It was all “in fun” but I didn’t want 2 hurt any feelings,” she tweeted.

I mean, I guess it was big of Tamar to offer an apology to Joseline even though it was way after the offense was made. If she’s smart, she probably looked back at that video of Joseline putting the beats on Stevie in that therapist’s office and concluded that it’s probably wiser to have Ms. Hernandez as a friend than a foe. If Joseline found it in her heart to forgive that scheming Karlie Redd during the last season of Love and Hip Hop Atlanta, then we’re sure she can forgive Tamar as well.

This past Monday, we told you about the drama between Love and Hip Hop‘s Joseline Hernandez and Tamar Braxton that jumped off after Tamar kicked up dust around the ancient rumor that Joseline Hernandez was a man pretending to be a woman by adding her two cents during the premiere episode of Tiny Tonight. During the show, the clip of Joseline wailing on Stevie during a therapy session was shown. ”I don’t got time for that type of boy-on-boy action,” Tamar boldly stated at the conclusion of the clip and then proceeded to call Joseline “a fine rendition of a woman.”

Of course Joseline didn’t take kindly to those comments and proceeded to go at Tamar via her Twitter page and now, the Love and Hip Hop star has taken the beef a step further. According to The Jasmine Brand, last night Ms.Hernandez made an appearance on Kandi Koated Nights where she chatted it up with Kandi Burruss and discussed the beef.

“First of all Tamar, they been saying you look like a dude four years ago. B***h you the one that look like a man, don’t get it twisted. Dont go there. For real, you like 50 years old. Im a young broad, I dont know you, why you f**king with me. I dont know who you are, I know your sister.”

“That b***h ain’t 35. If she 35, then Im 17 and we know I aint 17. She need to take that money and do plastic better surgery.”

Tamar, who has been pretty quiet since Joseline declared war on her a few days has ago has also responded via her Twitter page.

“I guess if I wasn’t bullied name calling wouldn’t effect me. I always thought I wouldn’t go through it as an adult. I guess I was wrong. smh,” she tweeted.

Now, Tamar is my girl, but she can’t possibly be trying to pull the sympathy card talking about she’s being bullied when this is some mess that she singlehandedly started.

Most of us knew that the premiere of “Tiny Tonight” would not come without controversy, and we were proven right when Joseline lost her mind over the new late-night talk show on Twitter last night. Since the entire cast of the show, with the exception of Trina, are all pretty well acquainted with the reality television industry, of course reality shows were a hot topic.

One show in particular came up and that was VH1′s “Love and Hip Hop.” This of course prompted Tamar to dig in the archives and dust off the “Joseline Herenandez is really a man” rumors while co-host Claudia Jordan co-signed. It seems that Joseline didn’t take too kindly to Tamar’s antics though because she went completely off on Tamar and Claudia via her Twitter page.

“@TamarBraxtonHer b***h u got a d**k u f**k u know who whit you wanna be beyonce old PUTA. U a mess . I stay on u hoes mind. U 2 old”

She then proceeded to get some licks in on Claudia Jordan as well.

“These throwback ho$& is clowns!Say something bout me I’m going to go in on you publicly with a vengeance I don’t give a f$&@! Respect who”

Joseline is fighting maddddddd y’all. What I find ironically hilarious though is that Joseline’s writing is just as difficult to understand as her speech sometimes. Tamar doesn’t seem to have responded to Joseline’s angry rant yet, but we’re sure she will eventually. Do you guys think she’s going to threaten to sue Joseline for defamation like she did K.Michelle?

If you’re wondering which celebrity is having the absolute best week ever, it’s Ms. Tamar Braxton. She finally got a chance to explain, to our brother site Bossip, why it appears that her skin is getting lighter. (Cuz you know you wanted to know.) Then she performed her newest single on her hit, reality tv show “Tamar and Vince.” After that said single was promoted by pop music’s biggest star, Lady Gaga, which helped Tamar clutch that number one spot on iTunes.

As much as we can’t stand Tamar’s theatrics and attitude, we’ve got to hand it to Miss Thang. She did that! “Love & War” is poppin’!
