True Love Is Verifying Your Boo On Twitter, And Other Random Things We Learned From The “Love And Hip Hop” Reunion Part II

And it’s finally over! The season of Love and Hip Hop in New York ended yesterday after airing their final reunion episode, and boy did the absolute most happen. Joe Budden got punched in the back of the head by Consequence, Erica admitted to having sexual relations with Tiffany, Yandy opened up about the currently incarcerated Mendeecees, and basically, the ratch came out of pretty much everybody. Here’s a recap of the mess that we couldn’t help but be confused by last night.
Tiny Packages And Ratchet Tattoos: A Recap Of The Love & Hip Hop Reunion (Part I)

So who else partook in the foolery of last night’s Love and Hip Hop reunion (part I)? Don’t make us think we were the only ones! It was definitely the definition of messy. People’s incarcerated fiancés were having their private parts joked about, lie detector tests were administered, Olivia and Erica had a one-sided sing-off to determine who really needs to have the boring song “Where Do I Go From Here,” and Mona Scott-Young tried to prove she could be a good moderator by yelling at her employees like children. All in all, it was an entertaining hour to say the least. Here are a few things we took away from the 60 minutes of ratch — and if this isn’t enough, head here.
Be Glad Security Came Quick: Rashidah Ali Has Some Words For Raqi After Their LHH Reunion Fight
Two weeks ago, we gave you all an exclusive on the fight that went down between Rashidah Ali and Raqi during the “Love & Hip-Hop” reunion taping in New York, and from the sounds of things there may be some unfinished business. Rashidah stopped by MadameNoire’s office to send a little message to Raqi, post-brawl, and she also gave her two cents on the likelihood of Yandy and Mendeecees’ relationship lasting — not much — as well as Joe and Tahiry’s. And she even told us a few details about her boo and their upcoming nuptials. Check out the interview now.

Joe Budden’s relationship with Tahiry is an interesting one. Though the couple has been broken up for four years, he has a new girlfriend, and Tahiry is doing her, it’s clear the rapper isn’t quite on to the next one. On Monday night’s episode of “Love & Hip-Hop” Joe said Tahiry is the closest thing he’s ever had to a wife which begs two questions: one, how does his current girlfriend feel about this, and two, does Tahiry feel the same? Though we couldn’t get an answer to question one for you, we do know where Tahiry’s head is, and let’s just say these two are not on the same page or even in the same book according to her.
Check out our interview with her at the LHHNY premiere and tell us what you think about her opinion of Joe.
Love & Hip-Hop NY Reckless Reality Wrap-Up, Episode 1: ‘You Better Check This B****’
Last night, VH1 kicked off it’s third season of “Love & Hip-Hop NY” and let’s just say there was plenty of recklessness to go around. Mona Scott-Young and the cast set a new record for the number of drinks thrown in one episode, let alone the first one. And we wouldn’t be surprised if viewers already picked out cast favorites and pinpointed a few shady characters they could do without this season (*cough Raqi*). Check out everything that went down in episode 1 in our reckless reality recap.
Three More Minutes Of Ratchetness: “Love & Hip Hop New York” Drops Its Season 3 Extended Trailer
You know that it’s almost show time when television networks release supertrailers for their highly anticipated reality shows. VH1 recently released the extended trailer for the upcoming season of Love & Hip Hop and I am so tempted to say “It’s about to go down” in my Kevin Hart voice. The trailer reveals that there will be much more to this season’s storyline than boyfriends and baby daddies who won’t commit. The season appears to tackle some pretty hard-hitting issues including the clashing of culture and religion between couples as well as what seems to be some sort of drug addiction.
Of course, Love and Hip Hop wouldn’t be Love & Hip Hop without substantial amounts of ratchetness being thrown into the storyline. Don’t worry; there will be plenty of slapping, backbiting, and drink throwing.
Many speculated that this season would not be able to measure up to previous seasons because key characters such as Chrissy Lampkin, Jim Jones and Emily Bustamente would not be participating. The trailer also indicates no sign of Kimbella or Somaya Reece. The show however, looks like it will be fairly interesting without them.
With the queen b, Chrissy Lampkin out of the way, it looks as if Love & Hip Hop sophomore, Yandy Smith just might be taking over as this season’s “It” girl. With her adorable baby boy and her boyfriend being added to the cast, it appears that Yandy’s story may dominate this season, even more so than it did last season.
Unfortunately, it’s looking like Olivia is still struggling to get back into the limelight, which is sad since it seemed that she was finally on the right path with her single “Walk Away” at the conclusion of last season.
My Spidey senses tell me this season will be extremely entertaining with a ton of surprises. The first episode is set to premiere Monday, January 7th at 8PM.

Are You Ready For This? Meet The New Cast Of LHHNY
It seems like just yesterday we were watching Chrissy throw them bows at Kimbella and cuss out Yandy every chance she got, but Baller Alert is confirming that it’s already time for the next season of Love & Hip-Hop NYC, and that the next cast members have been officially confirmed by VH1. Though we suspected a few of these folks would be a part of the crew, there are a few interesting names added to the mix. Check out the list:
Joe Budden- Fierce free-styling artist Joe Budden is widely considered one of hip hop’s most gifted lyricists. His Grammy award-winning song “Pump It Up” was featured in the hit movie 2 Fast 2 Furious. This ladies’ man is also known for posting about his very public relationships and break-ups online.
Tahiry Jose- Tahiry is a charismatic urban model who is best known for her rapid-fire sarcasm as well as her painful and very public break-up with Joe Budden.
Raqi Thunda- Radio personality and DJ Raqi Thunda has no problem keeping it real. Raqi and Joe Budden insist they are just long-time friends. However, Raqi and Joe’s ex, Tahiry don’t see eye- to- eye and have a tumultuous relationship.
Consequence - NYC rapper Consequence has established a successful career working with the likes of Kanye West and A Tribe Called Quest. His five year relationship with fellow cast member Jen Bayer and their 1-year old son Caiden has left the couple bickering about how to raise the child based on differing cultural and religious beliefs.
Jen “The Pen” Bayer - Known for dishing up gossip with DJ Whoo Kid and The Hot Boyz of Chicago, Jen has spent the past year raising Caiden, her son with cast member Consequence.
Winter Ramos - With a brief appearance in the second season of “Love & Hip Hop,” Winter Ramos, former assistant to rapper Fabolous, is making her name in hip hop history as she writes a tell-all book on her roster of famous ex-boyfriends and her life in the music industry. She is currently the Creative Costume Designer for Flavor Unit Films.
Rashidah Ali - Known as the “Blinged Out Bombshell,” Rashidah is most known for being a shoe consultant to the stars and is currently working on launching her own shoe line, Encore.
On top of this, BA says that Yandy, Erica Mena, Rich Dollaz, and Olivia will be returning for next season which means this cast is officially on steroids. I’m assuming Mona Scott-Young and ‘dem are trying to get the NY cast to live up to the foolery of Atlanta so they figure the more the messier? I don’t ever recall this version of the series having quite this many players.
BA says the series will premiere Monday, January 7 at 8pm and it looks like we’re in for a hot mess of a time, especially since Joe Budden and Tahiry have already kicked off the dramatics on Twitter. Let the scripted games begin.

Loose Lipped Lovers: 10 Celeb Men Who Kiss & Tell
The only thing juicier than getting the leaked details of a celeb rendezvous is hearing the tale straight from the horse’s mouth. Women have always caught a bad rap for being blabber mouths, but these celeb men aren’t so good at keep their mouths shut either. Kissing and telling is downright tacky and extremely messy, yet, somehow it makes for great entertainment. Proceed to see which messy men made the list.
Oh Word? There Might Be a White Girl On LHHNY Next Season
Perhaps minorities won’t be the only ones critics can say are poorly represented on “Love & Hip-Hop” next season when it comes back around to New York. Back in July, Bossip speculated that Rapper/Producer/Songwriter “Consequence” and his longtime white girlfriend Jen The Pen would be joining the cast, and now SoFurious.com is confirming it’s true—along with a few other potentials we mentioned before.
I’ve been informed that Mona Scott-Young has so far pulled in rapper Consequence and his white girlfriend/baby mama, Jen The Pen for season four. Also joining the cast are Tahiry José (Joe Budden’s ex of five years), a female rapper named Lore’l (pronounced like the cosmetics), a woman named Raqi Thunda (who apparently also dated Joe Budden), and Winter Ramos (Fabolous’ ex-assistant/friend).
Anyone else read that as messy, messy, messy?
Having a white girl in the crew will likely be the least of the worries next season if two ladies who used to date Joe Budden have to be captured behind one small camera screen together. And if Fabolous has the nerve to appear on the show with Winter when he wouldn’t with Emily? Side eyes until kingdom come.
Though the cast doesn’t sound that exciting since no one knows any of these people, when you remember that nobody knew who Joseline, Stebie, Mimi, or any of the other Atlanta crew were two months ago, and now we can’t get enough of them, we’ll probably be addicted to these unknowns in a few months too.

Knicks Player Fined $25K For Tweeting Nude Pic of Joe Budden’s Ex
The childish antics of the Knick’s newest player, J.R. Smith, have finally caught up to him in the amount of $25,000. That’s the fine he was ordered to pay by the NBA for posting a half-nude pic of a young woman named Tahiry bent over in a thong on Twitter.
Tahiry is the ex-girlfriend of rapper Joe Budden and an old acquaintance of J.R.’s who he recently got in touch with since he was traded to New York. According to Necole Bitchie, J.R. has been flaunting the fact that he has Joe’s “leftovers” all over Twitter for a while now—despite the fact that he was reportedly in a relationship with a woman named Britanie as of January—but this chunk out of his next paycheck should calm all that down.
Some say it’s not the NBA’s place to police basketball player’s Twitter accounts, but someone needs to regulate this foolishness—although Tahiry doesn’t seem to mind the fact that her assets were sent out all over Twitter, probably because that’s how she makes a living. Here’s how she responded to the pics:
I’m so pissed tweeps. Imma choke
@TheRealJRSmith .. He thinks this is the funniest s*** ever. so pissed but can’t stop laughing.
I guess.
What do you think? Does J.R. deserve the fine, even if the “victim” isn’t mad?
