Brandy Norwood and Sonja Norwood
Being a teenager is a very difficult time in your life, but the experience is probably even more intense when you’re famous. Award winning singer and actress, Brandy, charmed her way into our hearts, acting in multiple mediums. There was a time when she was highly marketable. Not wanting her daughter to be taken advantage of, Sonja became her manager, and this was a source of tension between the two.
In a 2002 interview in Oprah’s O magazine, Brandy, who was dealing with wanting to be rebellious and a people-pleaser would clash with her mom-ager because she felt like her mother occasionally saw her as just a commodity. The standard of being perfect was hard for Brandy to deal with as well. Sonja admitted that there were times when she was more of a manager when she should have been a mom and vice versa. But with the birth of Brandy’s daughter, the two have a better relationship now.

In elementary school it was making sure you tagged the boy you like, and not in the Facebook way. In middle school, you may have sent a note with, “Do you like me? Check yes or no. By the time high school rolled around you found yourself fighting the fear that you wouldn’t receive a candy-gram from a secret admirer. You may not know it, but you’ve been flirting since you were playing Duck Duck Goose.
Though, as an adult you may find that flirtation grazes a fine line between bold and aggressive and passive and timid. With the confidence that comes from your experiences as a woman, you probably know by now what you want, but may be still unsure of exactly how to get it. For example, you’re at the bar with your girls at Happy Hour when you spot a tall glass of Hot. You may not want to straddle the bar while lip-synching Rihanna’s “S&M”, but you also don’t want to shy away into the shadows by the bathroom and hope he’ll notice you at some point during the night. (He’ll have to go to the bathroom eventually, right?)
What can you do so that you appear interested but not thirsty? The list below can help you get his attention without getting on his nerves.

Antares, the company that produces auto-tune technology has a lot to be grateful for when it comes to T-Pain, but now, he’s paying them back with a lawsuit.
It’s no mystery to anyone that T-Pain has single-handily, massively popularized auto-tune, which “gave modern singing a synthetic shine” much to the chagrin of pure vocalists and even rappers like Jay-Z who felt it was damaging to the music industry.
Although T-Pain and Antares had a strong business relationship over the years, according to Billboard, the rapper/producer is ready to step out on his own with the “The T-Pain Effect” – his own voice manipulation product.
His suit against Antares contends that the company is still using his likeness in promotional and marketing materials.
Tattoos to Avoid By All Means Necessary
Oh, how addictive getting tatted up can be.
When people tell me they want a new tattoo but aren’t sure of what to get, I always want to yell at them in dismay not to get one. Not because I’m against body art, but because when people get that craving to feel the needle against their skin, they usually come out of the parlor with a marking they’ll regret. Something spur of the moment. We can all agree there’s no need for you to have a tattoo of your own name. And while most small, hidden tattoos that catch people by surprise can be Hot, these days, spontaneous (basically stupid) designs end up too big to hide and the person ends up having to explain their body of work everytime it meets someone’s eye. So if you want to try out a new tattoo, I beg of you, check out the following failures in tattoo trends and avoid them at all costs.
