Must See Reality TV? Check Out The Supertrailer For VH1′s “Marrying The Game”

Though The Game and his fiancée/girlfriend Tiffney Cambridge have gone back and forth, and back and forth again on their wedding, there’s no turning back on the couple’s upcoming reality show. VH1 has just released the supertrailer for the new show, ”Marrying The Game,” and the double meaning of that title is so evident in the three minute spot.

Way too many gems are dropped in this promo, from Tiffney mentioning that eight years and four proposals later it’s finally time to tie the knot, to The Game throwing out dollars at the mother of his children like she’s a stripper at the club. I really don’t know what to make of this except I fully understand now why Tiffney cancelled their first wedding and then postponed it after they semi-reconciled. Because I’m gullible, I know I’ll be watching this show on Monday nights, but I’m preeeeety sure I can already tell how this is going to end.

Check out the trailer here. Will you watch “Marrying The Game” when it debuts November 19th at 9:30 pm?

First Look At JoJo On Season 2 Of VH1′s “Couples Therapy”: I Was Drunk When I Proposed To My Wife

Season 2 of VH1′s “Couple’s Therapy” is getting ready to kick off and the network already has my attention just looking at the line-up of troubled couples slated to appear on the show.

The five lucky pairs — or unlucky depending on how you look at it— are Alex McCord and Simon van Kempen from the “Real Housewives of New York”, Shayne and Nik Lamas-Richie a celebrity blogger and former “Bachelor” contestant, rapper  Too Short and his wife Monica Payne, Jodeci’s JoJo and Tashaunda “Tiny” Hailey, and 52-year-old Doug Hutchison who is married to 17-year-old Courtney Stodden.

From the supertrailer VH1 just released, it appears JoJo may be the most troubled cast member this season, as his issues go beyond his marriage to his health which is heavily affected by his alcoholism. His wife pleads with the singer to stop drinking, while he admits that he was drunk when he proposed to her. I’m sure you can see how that wouldn’t exactly start the pair off on the right foot to marital bliss.

The premiere episode of the second season airs next Wednesday, October 3 at 10pm. Check out the trailer and tell us what you think. Will you watch?

Will You Tune In? Love and Hip-Hop ATL Supertrailer Is Here

It took a long time for me to close my mouth after I watched the Supertrailer for “Love and Hip-Hop Atlanta.” It wasn’t so much that the series looks like it’s going to be too ratchet for me, there’s just a lot of hood countriness and overt infidelity going on in the dirty that left me baffled at a few of these women and what they appear to be tolerating. That, and the trailer lightweight looks like a movie, leading one to believe a heavy percentage of the show is scripted, as you’ve probably already suspected.

I really can’t point out any of the characters in the show because they truly are unknown—besides Lil’ Scrappy and Rasheeda to some extent—but from what I can tell there are a lot of aspiring artists in this series and, of course, a stripper, who says she’s not going back on the pole. SMH, sorry for laughing.

I almost said I didn’t see any physical altercations, but Scrappy may have had a busted, bloody mouth in one scene at the hands of another character but that all remains to be seen. Anyway, just check out he trailer and draw your own conclusions about whether this is worthy of your viewership.

The premiere hits June 18 at 8pm on Vh1. Will you watch?

Calling All ‘Single Ladies:’ The Season 2 Trailer Is Here

In just one week, VH1′s popular scripted series “Single Ladies” will be back for season 2. Fans who fell in love with the show last season are still mourning Stacey Dash’s departure but what better way to figure out if round 2 will be worth watching without her then by checking out the show’s supertrailer?

The preview clip gives us a first look at Denise Vasi and the plot of her new character Raquel Lancaster. From the looks of things, she might be Stacey Dash 2.0—cute, bubbly, not as naive. LisaRaye’s character Keisha appears to be in a bit of a love triangle between Malcolm and a new suitor, and it looks like April, played by Charity Shea, is going to be working overtime to solidify her re-entry into the dating game. I’ll admit I’m kind of excited to add this to my Monday night lineup. The acting isn’t the best, but overall this is a fun, entertaining show and one of the last of the dying scripted series breed.

The series premiere airs May 28 at 9pm. Check out the trailer and tell us what you think. Will you tune in for season 2?

Reality Show Sneak Peek: ‘Lala’s Full Court Life’

Last season of “Lala’s Full Court Life” was all about Carmelo’s big move to the New York Knicks and Lala attempting to expand her career in front of the camera, but now that the couple has settled into life in the big apple, it seems there may be trouble in paradise on season 2.

VH1 has released a super trailer for the upcoming season of the show, and it looks like Lala is struggling more than ever to stay connected to Carmelo with both of their busy schedules. In the same way that Lala is feeling neglected by Melo, Lala’s ride-or-die girls, Po and Dice, seem to be feeling like red-headed step children while Lala’s career takes off. Kelly Rowland, Monica, Christina Millian, and tons of Lala’s other friends will also make guest appearances this season as we watch Lala try to balance being a mother, entrepreneur, and wife of an athlete, while still managing to have fun with the girls.

Initially, I couldn’t get into Lala’s show last season, but after four or five episodes I really started to like her down to earth personality and her loyalty. I’m just hoping all is well with her marriage.

Season 2 of ‘Lala’s Full Court Life’ debuts Monday, March 19, at 9pm. Check out the trailer and tell us what you think. Do you plan on watching?
